We had a really lovely meal at Son Hoi An and would definitely recommend a visit. The setting is beautiful and creates a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. The service was a little on the slow side, but it’s clear this is because everything is freshly prepared and cooked with care—so it’s well worth the wait. The flavours were absolutely delicious. There’s a great choice on the menu, including vegetarian and vegan options, as well as a fantastic range of slow-cooked meats. And the spring rolls were honestly the best we’ve had since arriving in Vietnam! If you’re looking for beautifully cooked food in a lovely setting, Son Hoi An is well worth a visit

I attended a cooking class for two days. Every dish taught here is exquisite, with a perfect balance of flavors. Over the two days, I learned how to make banh beo, charcoal-grilled fish wrapped in banana leaves, slow-cooked chicken thighs, fresh spring rolls with original sauce, charcoal-grilled duck with orange sauce, and fried rice. I run a restaurant in Japan, and I came to this restaurant to learn how to cook seven years ago. I still include some of the dishes I learned back then on my menu. Owner Tri's dishes are all so delicious you'll want to make them yourself, and the experience at this restaurant with its lovely, tranquil location will create wonderful memories of your time in Vietnam!

Amazing meal. The Cao Lau was perfect and as all the other reviews say, the duck was incredible! Fresh, flavourful and a great price. Also love the general vibe. 10/10 recommend eating here if you’re in Hoi An

Very delicious food, rooted in Hoi An's rich culinary history. Veg and Non-Veg alike. Presented in classic kitchen ware. All in a beautiful setting, opposite the river. There is plenty of room, even for bigger groups.

This is a little local delight and the food is absolutely outstanding. The atmosphere is very inviting and is a perfect little gem for lunch or dinner. The fish clay pot was fresh and full of flavour. Best in hoi an

Had an amazing lunch here including a duck dish ! Highlight of our order. Plenty of different seats including inside garden and on a terrace at the front. Road between restaurant and river. Recommend!
