Such a positive experience staying here! We came back another 2 times after going to Da Nang and Cham Island. The pool is the perfect temp, clean and big. The rooms are spacious and so easy to make yourself at home. The real highlight is the staff, Julie is so amazing, so responsive and so knowledgeable about what to do in the area and if you need transport to your next destination etc. The tailor she recommended was great. The other staff are so friendly and smiley and will always say hello and have a couple words with you. Really felt comfortable and looked after here, sad we have to move on and won’t be returning for a while. Do yourself a favour and stay here.

This place is truly amazing. Me and my partner stayed here 3 separate times during our stay in central Vietnam whilst jumping from town to town. This has hands down been the best place we have stayed in our 3 months of travel. Julie is incredible. She has helped us out so much during our stay and always made us feel very welcome. All the other staff are also very friendly and welcoming. The facilities are fantastic and the pool is everything you need after a long day of walking around. Thank you again to the Pham Gia team for having us. We’ve loved it !!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️-Five Stars all the way! We initially wanted to stay only for a night, but ended up 3 nights here! Julie, the owner of the Hotel is super friendly and helpful with everything-she will assist in any situation you have! You can rent bikes and motorcycles there with ease and at a fair rate. The rooms were very clean and you get fresh towels every day-if you want. They will even do your laundry if needed! The Location of the Hotel is great with only 10mins walk into the centre of the old town and many restaurants close by. The best thing though -except the kind character of Julie- is the quiet location of the hotel. You will not feel the bustling and loud streets of Hoi An here, instead you can relax and enjoy your calm stay in Hoi An! Its a straight 5/5 for this hotel, every detail was right and we had no problems with anything-totally recommend it all time!

Really nice and clean Homestay/Hotel. Very reasonable prices, i booked on Agoda. The room I stayed in was very spacious and clean, but the ants ate all my vitamins and snacks 🐜. The services is absolutely fantastic, Julie the manager there arranged a vehicle for me from the airport to the hotel and it was cheaper than a grab. I also rented a reliable scooter directly from them cheaper than most places.

All other reviews have pointed out the pros, so I will focus on the cons, as I personally would’ve liked to know, it would’ve saved me a lot of hassle. The wifi is weak to a point of non existent! The smart TV is hardly smart with only YouTube. If that, because the wifi is so weak. I couldn’t do instagram and FB, so let alone working from here. Laundry charges are exorbitant. As full time travellers this is important to us. That’s it. If these things don’t bother you, you’re good to go.

The first room I booked had really poor AC to the point I couldn’t stop sweating. After some attempts to fix the AC, the host moved me to a “nicer” room — other than working AC, I’m not sure what the difference was between the rooms but she didn’t charge me for the upgrade. It’s about a 15 min walk to the Old Town. The power went out at least 5 separate times across the 4 nights I stayed… but they were quick to get the power back on. The pool is not very relaxing because it seems to be frequented by local kids — I just needed it to cool off from the sun so that didn’t really bother me much. The breakfast is good. The host organized me a private car to the Da Nang airport for 320k, but I know a lot of other places offered for 250k.

This was my least favorite hotel in all of my travels of Vietnam. The reviews are shocking given the quality of the hotel in December of 2025. The photos online are not representative of the current state of Pham Gia Boutique hotel. Besides the issue of not having a two bed room ready (which we’d booked 6 months earlier - in June of 2025), they eventually got us a room with two beds (I’m traveling with my mother). The room was not clean - you could feel that it was dirty and it had a mouldy smell. The walls were dirty, the bathroom floor wasn’t clean, it just wasn’t great at all. They did not make our beds after the first night - maybe this is common for the price point of $20usd a night, but we stayed at hotels for $25usd a night that were much nicer and they made our beds/cleaned every day and were of a much much higher quality. The photos online show a buffet breakfast - well that is non existent. It’s a very simple menu that was quite disappointing. I ordered the omelette and it was cooked in so much oil that I couldn’t eat it. ||The location is a 20 minute walk from the main areas of Hoi An, so location was ok. But like I said, this boutique hotel has definitely seen better days and I cannot recommend it to travelers.
