I Inspected a few hotels in the area before i decided to stay at the mansion and my motivation for staying here was the proximity to Cafe's and restaurants is excellent and I wanted a Quite room , Mr Tan kindly provided me with the Upper level double room overlooking the pool for no extra charge. The rooms are clean, all of them as I inspected them, beds are very comfortable and my room has a large bathroom with an antique bath (excellent hot water) Hire scooter was available.I did not use the pool because of the light rain however I did notice one apartment has a private pool, And the size of the rooms are generous. Pictures provided are after a tremendous sleep and the upper floor lounge chill area are shown, front Rooms have a balcony and views of the courtyard.

The hotel is horribly maintained, nothing like the pictures they posted earlier. The doors have no soundproofing at all, and the street in front is loud and busy. The floors and stairs were dirty. The swimming pool was not available for use. They increased the price to 950 per night for Tet, but there were no staff on duty, breakfast is not included. The soap and conditioner were not refilled.

I recently stayed at this hotel (09/10/2024-10/10/2024) and was quite disappointed with the experience. The towels provided were dirty, with noticeable hair and stains, which was really off-putting. On top of that, there was no hot water for the shower, making it impossible to have a proper shower. I tried calling the front desk at night to report these issues, but the telephone in the room didn’t work. While I understand this is a budget option, clean towels and hot water are basic necessities that every hotel should offer. I expected more, even at this price point, and hope these issues are addressed for future guests.

The pictures make the hotel seem a lot nicer than it actually is. We had to move out of our first room due to mould. All the rooms have glass panels in the doors, which does undermine your privacy. Also, light from the corridors shines through the glass when you’re trying to sleep (see picture). The breakfast was VERY disappointing. Instead of ‘baguette’ we had slices of white, processed bread. On one evening the water stopped working and bathroom items had not been topped up. I would NOT recommend.

Don’t let the nice photos the have posted fool you. When we arrived they took us to the wrong room and it smelt of chemicals. The staff came by a few minutes later and moved is to our actual room which was nicer at first glance and then I went into the bathroom. It had not be cleaned and the lasts guests left it filthy. The room also smelled of weird chemicals. We notified the staff and they gave it a quick clean and we slept there that night. We said we wanted a refund and to stay somewhere else but we would figure it out the next day. They upgraded us to a bigger room with a private pool instead and we decided it was easier to stay rather than find another place. The new room was clean but we didn’t use the pool because it was also filthy and had what looked like broken ceramic at the bottom of it. The room also smelled like chemicals and we had to keep the patio door open and fan on while we were in the room to air it out. That made it tricky to sleep. The bathroom was clean but as you can see from the photos, the place is moldy and not finished nicely. Cosmetic problems are fine with me if they are reflected in the price and advertisement which was not the case for this hotel. Very disappointed in the quality and cleanliness of this hotel. At least the linens were clean and comfortable.

We had a really unpleasant stay and wouldn’t recommend to go there. Of course the pictures are often a bit better then, the reality but in this case we were a bit shocked. (We forgot to take pictures for the review but with the defect lamp in the picture section you get an impression). Aside from this, there was a really moldy smell. The receptionist (possibly the owner) was almost never there and we hadn’t any way to contact him for questions, which was annoying. If we hadn’t checked in so late, we might have moved to another hotel.

No information at all on check inn. Just hand me the key. They Did not clean room or make bed once during 3 night stay. We asked several times for clean towels and we were just ignored. The pool looked dirty and the motorbike I rented from them was a deathtrap. The room was also advertised on trip as having a river view. It had a limited view of muddy stream. I would not stay here again. Was disappointed.
