Everything was excellent. Our room was massive and it had the most comfortable bed I've slept on in Asia. The location is central but it's tucked away enough that it's quiet at night. The family who runs this place are very lovely. I definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed staying at the Village Homestay! The location is excellent 5 min walk to the old town and on a side street around the corner from the nightly market and river boats. Even with such a central location it was really quiet throughout the day and night. The room was really lovely, spacious and clean. Highly recommend!

Really wonderful place in an exceptional location with the most lovely family running it. The rooms are super spacious and clean. Super central location close to the night market and a 5 min walk to the old town, but still on a really quiet side street. Highly recommend staying here if you visit Hoi An!

😊: 🇨🇦Our mattress and pillows were pretty comfortable, and the location was undeniably good. Nice balcony. But worth it overall? No. Avoid. 🇫🇷Notre matelas et nos oreillers étaient assez confortables, et l'emplacement était indéniablement bon. Joli balcon. 😢: 🇨🇦Two major issues with this homestay: 1. 💩STAINED SHEETS🤮 We had 2 king size beds in our room, one of which had a large brown stain in the bottom sheet- from a human ?... we didn’t give it the sniff test since we were only staying for one night and we had the other bed to sleep in. 2. 🤑BEWARE THE MINI FRIDGE🤕 The mini fridge had a couple of bottles of water, and several small-cans of Coca Cola and local cheap beer. In our month+ of staying at home-stays and hotels in Vietnam it has been very common to receive complementary drinks upon check-in, as the local unfiltered water is risky to drink. There was nothing written on the mini-fridge, room info-card, or on any check-in communications that the waters / canned beverages in the fridge were not complementary. They were cheap soda, beer and water bottles so we thought they would make it clear if they were not free. So around 1:30am we drank the waters and soda, since nobody was at the front desk we could have asked and the mini-marts in the neighborhood were all closed. When we checked out of our room, the matron of the homestay put a bill in front of us, charging us for all of the drinks, and when we explained that we assumed it was complementary as drinks have been with other home-stays, she became irate. We offered to pay for just the canned beverages but she continued to raise her voice. She was totally unwilling to consider our perspective, and her responsibility in failing to communicate verbally or in writing. TLDR; Possible human waste on sheets and shitty behavior. 2..

😊: Great location and very friendly staff who helped us book our night bus to Nha Trang. The room we had was very spacious, clean and had a small balcony, table and chairs which was a nice touch. Nice and quiet too, given the proximity to the night market. Just a 5 minute walk to the Old Town.. 😢: Nothing, we enjoyed our stay..

😊: Very central within easy reach of everything. Very very cosy bed and lovely staff. Highly recommend!. 😢: Loved the place but if we were picky the one issue we had was the smell of cigarette smoke managing to make its way into our room upstairs through a vent from an adjacent room..

😊: Good location- right next to the night market and a short walk to most old town attractions. The room its-self was clean and comfortable. Budget price was represented by the facility.. 😢: The entrance hall and property (attic next to our room) was very messy. Our room was up 5 flights of stairs (61 steps) with no elevator so the air-con was well needed after the trek. On our last morning we had no water or electricity, and were not informed of the reason. We chose not to do the breakfast as there was no dining area that seemed appropriate. No dustbin in the room. We stayed for 2 days and room was not serviced..
