This was truly the most unique tour I have ever been on. Ha intentionally curated a tour that celebrated the lesser known gems of Hoi An. We biked through the town and saw the most beautiful scenery. We tried rice wines, observed the process for making Hoi An's most popular ingredients, and attempted weaving. My favorite was visiting the local noodle makers, which highlights a family's incredible work ethic while making one reflect on how fast the world is changing. I don't know how else I could have learned about Hoi An's culture and people in a more authentic way. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants to celebrate a rich culture of kind people.

Incredible experience, honestly one of the best tours I’ve ever done, in and outside Vietnam ! I joined the early morning tour in Hoi An and learned so much at every stop, it’s absolutely worth the early wake up. Ha is deeply passionate about the Hoi An’s traditional crafts and culinary heritage, and brings it all to life through engaging storytelling and visits to hidden spots you wouldn’t find on your own. None of the usual tourist stuff here, only genuine traditions and visits to family businesses that have been established for several generations, and which crafts are sadly getting lost. What really sets this tour apart is also how hands-on it is, be ready to be put to work, this is not your typical passive tour ;) Do yourself a favour and book the early morning tour, I guarantee it will be a highlight of your trip.

I went on a private morning tour around Hoi An with Ha. On the motorbike we went down backstreets and explored places that you regularly wouldn’t see. Ha was so much knowledge of Hoi An and is passionate about showing and telling others the behind the scenes work and stories. I had a fabulous time and have already started planning my next tour. I can not recommend this tour company highly enough.

Another sensational day of touring with Ha and his team. We’ve known Ha for 10 years and continue to return and thoroughly enjoy the experiences he shares with us. We see and feel the real Vietnam through Ha’s passion for all things Hoi An and the surrounding area. As repeat customers Ha is always keen to share and show us something different whether it be something historical, a traditional street vendor, a little alleyway or a visit into the mountains. Our senses are always excited after a day with Ha and his team. Genuine and proud Hoi An local.

My husband and I did this tour three years ago and absolutely loved it. When my family planned a trip to Hoi An, we immediately reached out to Ha so we could share this incredible experience with them as well. This is, without question, one of the best tours we’ve ever done. Ha’s warmth, knowledge, and genuine passion for sharing the local culture made the experience unforgettable. We felt truly honored to learn more about the region as through someone so welcoming and authentic. Thank you again, Ha, for such a special experience. We can’t wait to meet again at our next visit!

It was the most amazing tour we’ve ever had, the perfect motivation to wake up at 4 a.m. and start our early morning adventure! We visited the last family still cooking cao lau noodles in the traditional way, just like years ago. Then we stopped to see how fish sauce is prepared. I absolutely loved it and would happily export it to Poland 😍 I could write much more, but it’s best to come and discover the secrets of Hoi An for yourself! None of this would have been so special without our outstanding, highly knowledgeable, and funny tour guide. He runs an inspiring project dedicated to preserving traditional professions before they disappear, and we’re happy we could contribute our small brick to it. Highly recommended! I hope next time we can join another tour in Hoi An! 😍🙏✨

This tour has been the best part of my holidays in Vietnam. My only regret is that I have waited the last day in Hoi An to do it. I recommend doing it as soon as you can. Don’t be scared by the early wake up as it is definitely worth. You will go around with drivers on motorbikes and see the authentic side of Hoi An and understand the making of traditional products (rice noodles, fish sauce, coffee, mattresses and rice wine). Ha is a super funny, knowledgeable and cool guide, available to answer any questions you might have. He also gave us awesome recommendations for our staying in Hoi An and other cities of Vietnam. His mission is very noble, he guides you to discover ancient local traditions and helps to revive them making them know to the world

I can’t recommend Ha and the Early Riser tour enough! The 4am wake up was so worth it for the unique and eye opening experiences - not only do you get to witness truly authentic and rarefied artisans practicing their craft, but you get to watch Hoi An wake up under the pink sunrise on the back of a scooter before any tourists wake up! Ha kept us laughing and had amazing recs for other parts of our trip. He truly cares about documenting and sharing the arts and traditions of his community and we are so lucky to be a part of his mission to share this legacy with the world.
