Great experience here. Not only is it an incredibly delicious restaurant, they also have dogs, cats, iguanas and cows roaming around the property. All friendly! In addition the iwner is very kind and soeaks english as well, in case anyone is shy to use Vietnamese. Finally, we were able to spend some time resting afterwards in the provided hammocks. What a wonderful and peaceful place

I rate this healing space 5/5 stars. You can get quite an immersive nature experience here in the middle of hoi an town. Sleeping accomodations, vegan food, mindful community, and good leadership from the hosts (Rocky and Ms Thuy) are all apart of the experience. Taking time to refine your own inner connection is the best benefit you can obtain here. There are various styles to learn here; like zen, dhamma, Vipassana, qi-gong, and more. Discover for yourself :)

This peaceful oasis in Hoi An is nourishment for both body and spirit. The vegan food is prepared with care, intention, and genuine love. Each dish feels thoughtful and alive. The Cao Lau is exceptional and a must-have whenever you are in Hoi An. It is balanced, comforting, and deeply satisfying. The additional mixed fresh salad was vibrant and refreshing. It lit my chef tastebuds with pure delight. What truly elevates the experience is the host. His joy, laughter, and warm presence infuse the space with ease and compassion. It all blends seamlessly into the meditative energy of the retreat center. A place to slow down, smile, and savor every bite. I had the pleasure of spending an entire day of retreat with Rocky and Peace. It was a day filled with wisdom, good vegan food and new learnings in a incredibly beautiful environment. Rocky and Peace are very generous, genuine, wise and beautiful people and I feel very blessed to have met them! I recommend a visit to anyone who is interested in mindful living and meditation. Thank you again and I hope I can come back soon ❤️

Didn’t know what we were getting ourselves into when we stumbled upon this gem on our bike ride. What we thought was a quick stop for coffee turned into life lessons me and my husband will be taking back home. The owners are gracious, kind, and wise. I’ll be forever grateful that we spent some time in this beautiful space.

Lovely peaceful place to enjoy food made with love. There is a garden and a little pond. Very green and relaxing. Great host who shared his love for organic and natural eco living. We had the vegan Pho and tofu with tomatoes made in a clay pot. Super yummy. Highly recommended.

A peaceful haven in nature where you instantly feel calm and connected. The owners are incredibly kind, we had a meaningful conversation about life and what often gets lost in today’s world. We enjoyed a delicious meal made from their own homegrown ingredients. Perfect for anyone looking to relax, reflect, and reconnect. Highly recommended!

I joined the one-day meditation retreat at the Eco Village. While the setting, people, and food were lovely, I wouldn’t recommend the retreat itself. Pros: - Rocky and Peace are very friendly and welcoming - The food was excellent, especially the vegan cao lầu - The environment is peaceful and calming, with a pond, shaded areas, and hammocks Cons: - The retreat had limited actual meditation or Buddhist instruction. We did two seated sessions, one walking meditation, and a small bit of yoga/qi gong, but a large portion of the day (around 4+ hours) was spent listening to long philosophical talks which I found draining given I expected more guided meditation. As someone with prior meditation experience I managed to make the most of the exercises, but beginners would likely find it unclear or lacking direction. - The talks felt more like personal or New Age philosophy than structured guidance in mindfulness or Buddhism. Some of the content was quite unconventional (e.g., strong views on vegan diet (“You eat chicken you start to look like chicken”), skepticism toward modern medicine, and other personal beliefs). During one session we were meditating on a raft in strong direct sunlight and I hadn’t applied sunscreen. Rocky told me that if I wasn’t afraid of the sun it wouldn’t burn me. I had to push to move into the shade. Overall, I think the space itself is worth visiting to come for a meal or spend some quiet time meditating by the water. However, I wouldn’t recommend the one-day retreat, especially given the price (~2 million VND), if you’re looking for structured meditation instruction.
