  Craft beer pub with almost exclusively south Vietnamese beers both on tap and in cans. Very friendly owner. Live music. I will definitely return.

  If you like craft beer, this place is for you! The Kurtz IPA is brilliant, a beer without any flaws, which really doesn't happen often (I'm a brewer and beer tester). All the beers I tried were fresh. Interestingly, the snacks were also very tasty (I had the onion rings and shrimps) and freshly prepared!

  I came at about 8:30pm on a Wednesday in February. There was no one here, so I’m assuming it’s early. Regardless I had a beer with my wife and son, to be specific I had the “mistress” ipa and it was pretty delicious. Perfectly balanced and with a decent abv of 8.3%. I like sitting by the street and people watch. It’s also right next to smash burger so I’m about to crush a burger after this beer and I’ll die a happy man.

  Stopped in and a young guy had bought the place 4 days before. Beer was delicious. Definitely worth the stop. Support the young guy running the bar.

  The best. If you want local Vietnamese craft beer with an expert local beer guide, this is your spot. Publican Mitch is the best. I am really picky and he dropped a couple beers on me I never would have tried, but they were fantastic. Just go.

  Popped in for a craft beer fix, they’ve got a lot of great selections from all over Vietnam and was good to get somewhere that didn’t just serve Tiger, Heineken or Saigon…. My wife doesn’t drink beer but they had some ciders and hard sodas, that really were as delicious as the beer and maybe even more refreshing in the evening heat.

  Hoppy Daze is easily one of the best places on Phu Quoc for anyone who appreciates great craft beer. We’ve been coming here regularly for several months, and the quality has never disappointed us. The beer selection is unlike anywhere else on the island, with unique styles and constantly fresh taps, and every pint is poured perfectly. The atmosphere is always fantastic, with a lively crowd, great music, and a relaxed vibe that makes it easy to spend the whole evening here. The staff are friendly and passionate about what they do, and you can tell they genuinely care about serving excellent beer. It’s become our go-to spot whenever we want to enjoy a few drinks with friends, and we always recommend it to anyone visiting Phu Quoc. If you’re looking for fresh craft beer, good energy, and one of the best bar experiences on the island, Hoppy Daze is a place you shouldn’t miss.

  Mitch is from Switzerland. Approachable, engaged in conversation. Decent selection of draft beers and also canned selections including hard seltzers. Paying slightly less than western prices. Food is available from the Cafe next door and can pay in one tab. Worth a look for beer drinkers.
