  I liked the place, I nearly skipped it because of plenty of bad reviews. As recommended I came one hour before sunset but this time wasn’t enough for two girls making photos. I regretted that I left so little time for this beach. The beach looks clean and groomed. The fee can be disappointing but at the same time you won’t have crowds of people as on Khem or Sao beaches. But anyway there can be lines to make photos on the sunset background. The sunset view is really amazing there.

  We stayed at Sunset Sanato Phu Quoc as a family of 8—2 grandparents, 2 parents, and 4 kids ranging from teens to little ones—and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. The beach itself is wide, clean, and perfect for relaxing, but what makes this place stand out are the unique sculptures and art installations scattered along the sand. They gave us plenty of fun photo opportunities and kept the kids curious and engaged. The younger ones especially loved the water park and pools, which gave them hours of playtime while the grandparents enjoyed the quieter spots by the sea. It was easy to move around thanks to the resort’s layout and buggy’s to take you around, and there were plenty of shaded areas and places to grab a drink or snack. The atmosphere felt lively but still family-friendly, so we never felt out of place with a big group. Between the amenities, the welcoming staff, and the natural beauty, Sunset Sanato managed to keep everyone in our group happy. We’d absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Phu Quoc, especially families traveling with kids and grandparents. The villas were outstanding with tons of room and all areas were COLD with A/C in every room. We could have just stayed here the whole time. I saw all the bad reviews and it looks like they were trying to get a quick and cheap experience from the resort. Or they found the corners of the resort that had some construction or debris and took some pictures. If you stayed here you’ll love it, if you are just trying to take a peek it’s still great.

  The arts were gorgeous, we had a great time here. Unlucky the sunset wasn’t good at the time we went to. We paid the entrance ticket from Klook 5,75aud

  Sunset Sanato in Phú Quốc is a must-visit check-in spot despite its flaws. This place has clearly been around for a while, and it seems like little has been done to maintain or upgrade the facilities. The ticket booth doesn’t display prices clearly, which can be confusing for first-time visitors. Once inside, I was surprised to see a female DJ standing in the scorching sun for hours, playing loud music non-stop. It felt like she was being grilled under the intense heat like a dried squid. The music was extremely loud and overwhelming, which took away from the romantic vibe you’d expect during a seaside sunset. That said, I still rate this place five stars – not for comfort or service, but for the stunning, dreamlike atmosphere it offers at sunset. The iconic sculptures and art installations along the beach create a magical setting, perfect for photos and peaceful reflection. It’s a rare place where you can let your soul drift with the sunset. However, the public restroom was shockingly dirty and dark – even during the day. The strong odor of old urine and lack of cleaning made it nearly unusable. Fortunately, near the restroom area, there was a juice stand where we found some relief. We had a cold, fresh watermelon juice and a shady spot to relax for a moment. All in all, despite the downsides, Sunset Sanato is still worth visiting for its one-of-a-kind sunset experience.

  The beach was clean and nice, we came early so managed to get sunbeds. 90k entrance per person + 100k per sunbed. The design elements on the beach are a bit too many and already old but nice effort. The only food we managed to get was in a pizza restaurant ghee and it was overpriced and not great. The drinks at the lobby bar were fine though.

  Only 4 spots to grab a pic... U can seperate entry pass, no need to book a stay. Only 4 places to grab instagram worthy pics and too best only during sunset hours

  Not as impressive as it looks on social media. The beach is quite narrow and steep. The sunset is beautiful, but the entrance fee is overpriced for the overall experience

  As someone who travels a lot, I rarely come across such unjustified requirements. A paid entry to a bar is already strange, but 80,000 VND per person with no bonuses or explanations is way too much. What upset me even more was that there are no discounts for children: this means a family pays twice as much as a couple. It’s not just expensive — it’s unfair. We didn’t even bother to check what the place was like inside — we turned around and went to Rory’s. There, entry is free and the atmosphere is much more welcoming.
