I am very grateful for the help the clinic gave me in the emergency room, I came with severe dehydration and food poisoning symptoms, they gave me a bed and and the doctor examined me in about 30 minutes after arrival. It took long time to get support from my insurance company but the man in the reception was very professional and spoke good English, together we could reach the insurance company and get the confirmation documents that the hospital needed. The nurses are highly professional as well, they really take a good care of me. The emergency room is very light and clean, the beds are comfortable. The treatment that I received helped me in 2 hours, the medication the doctor prescribed me worked very well, I was very lucky to had the insurance and to get help in this clinic. I was very nervous and needy, but all the staff was very polite and they kept answering all my questions, thank you for that :) Also, one month before the food poisoning I took an HPV Gardacil 9 vaccine shot that we don’t have registered in Russia, they examined me quickly and got me a vaccine right away. No queue, and the doctor had a conversation with me about the vaccine, explained me all details I needed to know and they asked me to stay 15 minutes after the vaccine and they kept an eye on me during that time. I can say that all staff follow the protocols and are very well trained, but also polite and willing to help. I am very happy with the Vietnamese medical care overall.

I am writing this to thank the wonderful doctors and nurses and staff of Vinmec, including those who provided emergency care for my mother. My 82 year old mother had a near drowning, and was taken to this hospital by ambulance. Her situation was quite serious. She was in the ICU for 4 days and recuperated on the regular floor for another 3 days. The care she received was excellent, leading to a miraculous and full recovery. I was in constant contact with close family who are doctors in the US and at every turn, was reassured that the doctors were doing everything perfectly. Every interaction we had with the doctors and nurses was warm and professional and demonstrated great competency and knowledge. All of our questions and concerns were answered along the way. We would like to especially acknowledge her doctors Dr. Phuc and Dr. Trong, as well as Seng (in the ICU) and Ha (phlebotomy nurse on the 4th floor). Special thanks also to the other wonderful nurses on the 4th floor including Thao and Tien, and also Hoa (of the emergency team). Apologies that we do not have the names of everyone who helped us. We are forever grateful to Vinmec and the amazing people who work with care to help those in need.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Dr. Phan Phi Tuấn for his excellent work and professional care. We arrived at the Emergency Department in a critical situation, where we were immediately informed that my husband required an urgent appendectomy. Dr. Phan Phi Tuấn prepared my husband for surgery quickly and professionally, and he performed the operation with great skill. The surgery was successful, and my husband’s recovery took only three days in the hospital. Throughout this time, Dr. Phan Phi Tuấn visited us, provided clear explanations, and showed exceptional attention and care. We are truly grateful for his expertise and dedication. Thanks to him, my husband recovered quickly and safely. Thank you very much, Dr. Phan Phi Tuấn

Reception and doctors were very patient and prompt every step of the process from when I walked in the door, until I left especially Doctor Tuan. He might be the best doctor I have ever encountered in my entire life. He has to translate nearly everything with patients and still remains calm, patient and in positive spirits. If I ever have any issues that need medical attention, he will be the FIRST PLACE I go and only. Quite informal but didn't have any life threatening injuries so it was a very pleasant experience. Treated me with respect and were very gentle and understanding of the wounds and the pain I was experiencing. Translator app are this places best friend but whatever gets the job done lol. Might have been because I was American or just that I was quiet, patient, respectful, kind and calm. Never had to ask twice and received everything needed to treat my wounds in coming days. Highly recommend 🙏🏻🙌🏻🫶🏻

It was my first and last time I visited this hospital. I came with my boyfriend at 3 pm and left at 10 pm all because of the constant “wait for the doctor”. Even though I had an appointment, I had to wait for 20 more minutes to see the doctor, and so did my boyfriend. The consultation itself went well, the explanation was clear. I had ultrasound, it also went smoothly. But then I had to take an additional test, and they made us wait for half an hour at the reception just to get referral for analysis. My boyfriend got tested first and got his results an hour later, although they said it’ll take about 30 min (which was true, because on the report it said that the results were ready in 24 minutes). After we finally got the referral for me to take the test they said we had to wait for the nurse to come, which took 30 more minutes. We had to constantly ask them about it, because if you don’t ask, they simply forget about you and your request. After I finally had my test, we waited for another hour, after which I went to ask the receptionist about the results. They would say “I’ll call the doctor, wait”, not even bothered to ask for my personal details, such as my name or the type of service I received. When I reasonably asked whether they needed my information, the receptionist smirked in response. I had to come up to the desk every 10–15 minutes just to make sure I was not forgotten. When the test results were finally ready, I asked who I should speak to for interpretation. Once again, I was told to wait another 20 minutes while they called the doctor. I waited, but no one came. After reminding them again, the doctor finally appeared, but before I could even ask a single question, he just walked away to another patient. After more waiting, I managed to ask him to look at my test results and explain whether I needed treatment. Instead of a proper explanation, he avoided answering my questions and responded aggressively, saying things like, “I already sent you for testing, so what else do you want from me?” He then stated that he had many patients and no time to answer my questions, and simply left. When I returned to the reception desk to ask whether there was another doctor who could explain the results, the receptionist said she was not a doctor and knew nothing. That was the final straw. Exhausted and overwhelmed, we left the hospital without any medical conclusion. Additionally, we were unable to collect the medications we had previously purchased and left in the pharmacy refrigerator, as there were no staff members present in that wing of the hospital. Overall, I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with this experience. Update: the pharmacist contacted me and shipped the medicine

Arrived on April 17. The doctors are not competent and don’t know how to handle children. They don’t even know how to properly insert an IV (a bruise appeared where the needle was placed). The care for sick children is far below expectations. It feels less like an international hospital and more like a rural clinic. No dispute- the equipment is decent, but the staff are greedy. We paid a 5 million VND deposit in advance. After everything was finished, they refused to remove the needle until I paid an additional 393,000 VND. They even asked me to go outside into an open area while holding my child with the IV still in place. That’s only part of the problem. Then they tried to charge me 4 million VND on the terminal - I noticed it and said I had already paid 5 million and there should be a remaining balance. They started making excuses. Overall, I do not recommend this hospital to anyone. It does not meet international standards, especially considering it belongs to Phạm Nhật Vượng and Vingroup, where you would expect much higher standards. It’s simply not worth it.
