We loved our stay at the Best Western Premier Sonasea Phu Quoc! It’s a little older and outdated building but the staff are superb and very friendly. They went above and beyond for everything, even on our last day! We forgot to schedule the shuttle to the airport but they were able to accommodate us. One of their male employees (Anh) was very helpful on our first day; he gave us insights into which stores had the best exchange rates, how to get to the big King Kong market via bus, etc. We appreciated him very much! Would definitely recommend getting to breakfast sooner than later (like around 7), because it gets full pretty fast and it’s hard to find seats. Menu was tasty, changed daily. The beach was close by which was nice with young kids. Overall, pleasant experience and we would definitely come back again!

My heart was pounding the moment we arrived at this place 🥹✨—it’s absolutely beautiful and elegant. The photos on Google truly don’t lie! My boyfriend even commended me for choosing this place 🥰. We were warmly welcomed by the staff, and they immediately assisted us with our luggage and guided us to our room 🧳💖. We were greeted with a sweet welcome—literally! A handwritten note on a leaf along with some treats 🌿🍬, which was such a thoughtful touch. For the beach, they even provided slippers and a beach robe 🩴🌊. The room was incredibly spacious—honestly, it felt big enough to fit my whole family comfortably! The poolside view was stunning both day and night 🌴🏊♀️🌙. We woke up at 8 AM and went straight to the free breakfast buffet—and wow 😍🍽️, the variety was amazing! There were so many options that we ended up enjoying it for almost 2 hours. After that, we walked to the beach to burn off some calories 🚶♀️🌊. The place is huge—you can relax by the pool, lounge on the Bermuda grass 🌿, or unwind in a beachfront cabana 🏖️. You can even rent a bike to explore the nearby area 🚴♀️. Just outside the hotel, there’s a market where you can buy all sorts of things 🛍️—and surprisingly, the prices were not as expensive as I expected! Our stay was short, and I didn’t get to explore the nearby tourist attractions yet, but this place is definitely on my list to revisit 💖✨.

Initially we had an issue with check in. We faced some rude behaviour. However, the hotel quickly took care of it. HONG from guest relations was very helpful and friendly. The hotel is excellent. I feel the house keeping can be improved. The pool and beach side is excellent. Overall recommend for family.

A Lavish Escape with Minor Room Service Hiccups I recently stayed at the Best Western Premier Sonasea, having booked a 2BHK room via Agoda. Overall, the experience was grand and visually stunning, though there is some room for improvement in their service coordination. Arrival & Check-in Our flight landed early, and we arrived at the hotel at 12:00 PM, well before the standard 3:00 PM check-in. While we waited for our room to be prepared, the staff was accommodating enough to let us use the pool area. It was a great way to kill time and immediately soak in the "lavish" vibes of the property. The Room The 2BHK suite was impressive. It was: Spacious: Plenty of room for everyone to move comfortably. Clean: Housekeeping clearly does a great job maintaining the high standards expected of a 5-star property. Dining & Room Service This was the only area where the experience faltered. We encountered a significant language barrier with the room service staff, which led to a bit of a blunder. The Issue: We ordered three dishes, but only two arrived. The Disappointment: When we followed up on the third dish, we were told the kitchen had run out of chicken. For a 5-star establishment, hearing that a basic protein is "finished" during service was quite unexpected and a bit of a letdown. Final Verdict Despite the food service mishap, I would still rate this property highly. The infrastructure is beautiful, and the atmosphere is truly premium. It’s a fantastic place to stay, and I’m hopeful that they will smoothen out their communication and kitchen inventory in the future. I would definitely return for the luxury and the views!

Nice view room and recommend to stay in sea side rooms. The pool was really big so even though there has a lot of people using, it was like a private pool. Everything was good but the bedding in the room was quite humid as the hotel is next to sea.

Overall a good stay, with a few things worth knowing before booking. Rooms: Compact but modern, comfortable and well-equipped. Pools & kids club : Nice facilities. Beach bar: A real highlight — beautifully set up and very comfortable. Easily one of the best features of the hotel. Breakfast: Fine and adequate, without being particularly remarkable. Common areas: No air conditioning in the shared spaces (breakfast room, reception lobby), which can make things feel warm and humid at times — worth keeping in mind given the local climate. Location: Right by the Main Street with restaurants, shops and night market. Also, the hotel sits in Phu Quoc’s Korean district. Most nearby restaurants cater primarily to a Korean crowd, and some of the hotel’s own services follow a similar orientation. This has no bearing on my rating, but it’s useful context. Those looking for a more authentically Vietnamese experience may want to consider a different area of the island.

We stayed at this hotel during our New Year trip with family, and it was such a wonderful experience! The location is absolutely amazing — directly connected to the beach with its own private beach area, which made everything feel exclusive and relaxing. There’s also a lovely café by the beach where we could just sit back, enjoy the view, and chill together. The breakfast was fantastic with a wide variety of food options, so everyone in the family could find something they liked. Another big plus is how convenient the location is — it’s close to the bus station and within walking distance to the night food market, which made exploring and finding dinner so easy.Overall, it was a perfect place for a family get away, especially during the New Year holiday. We would definitely love to come back!

I had a pleasant stay at Best Western in Phu Quoc. The hotel has a lovely ambience and the service was excellent throughout. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. My room was neat, clean, and had a nice balcony, which added to the overall comfort. The hotel also has its own private beach, and the evening fire dance performances were a great experience. The rooftop bar with a DJ created a lively atmosphere at night. Breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options, including a dedicated Indian breakfast corner. There is also a small convenience store near the hotel.||However, although an Indian buffet was available, the taste and quality were disappointing. Indian restaurants are also quite far away and require a taxi. The hotel is located away from most major attractions as well.
