Since this place is quite far from the city center and away from busy commercial areas, you should come here prepared for a slow, relaxing getaway — a few days of sunbathing, swimming in the pool, grabbing something to eat, and simply enjoying the ocean view. If you’re someone who values peace and true rest, this hotel is definitely a great choice.Although the area wasn’t perfectly clean due to the tides bringing in quite a bit of debris, and since this is a long-established business it’s understandable that it doesn’t feel brand new anymore, we chose to look past those things and still enjoyed some truly relaxing moments here. There’s a unique sense of peace about this place.

The rooms are old and need to be updated and maintained. A lot of garbage in the ocean and on the beach beside the hotel. The food was ok, but had a decent selection. We had the last bungalow over the water. During the day it was very hot, even with the aircon on as no insulation. The bungalow is sloped quite a bit. The pier running out to it has dry rot and holes with screws sticking up, so don’t walk barefoot. Pool is nice. They offered rental bikes but they didn’t let us know they stopped offering this service. Staff were very friendly.

We stayed one night on the premiere sea chalet room. The room was clean with expected amenities, it gave a rustic and luxurious feel. The room had air conditioner however the insulation was not great and so could not keep up the cool temperature. Otherwise it was a good stay, the pier bar was great with pleasant service from the staff, however the staff in the breakfast restaurant seems a bit rude.

⭐ Highlights A perfect escape for anyone wanting to truly disconnect. The location is stunning — scenic, peaceful, and right by the beach. The property looks slightly older than the photos suggest, but it’s charming and not a dealbreaker. Food was a great surprise — the squid and prawns are outstanding, and the buffet breakfast is hearty and worth it. For couples or two adults, the variety is more than enough. 🔧Things to Improve Some mosquitoes during outdoor evening dining, though fans help. More importantly, there are no Indian or familiar cuisine options nearby, so families or elderly guests may find it limiting. The property is away from the city center, so plan accordingly. Overall: A beautiful, peaceful retreat best suited for couples and small groups who enjoy seafood and scenic getaways. Highly recommended for the right traveler! 🌊

Firstly, it’s a gorgeous place - when you enter, the grounds and the rooms. We’re Staying in a cool sea bungalow (the place I’ve looked most forward to all trip!) - the rooms were as expected alike the photos. The bathroom is huge and has an amazing digital shower. the tall waiter, I think his name is “New”, is amazing. Location - it’s clear it’s remote and not much around. you can see that on a map before booking, so no surprises there and part of its charm. It’s 30 minutes drive to duong duong, 20 to the airport. The restaurant has a varied menu, ok priced and is open until 9.30. You can prob get food delivered too. Negatives - It was windy nights and the front door of the bungalow has a gap when locked (other reviews talk of) and isn’t soundproof so it was sadly really bad nights sleep due to noise and shaking of the hut so minus point for that. Some bits around the resorts had broken/fallen due to the wind that they left like that for hours. It feels bit unsafe, they’re very chilled. The wooden walkway out to the bungalows has many rotting, broken and even some missing slates which is dangerous. The wood all needs varnishing and there’s lots of broke bits around. This wouldn’t take long to fix so seems lazy not to. At the same time, they’re always doing maintenance around the pool, making noise. I’d have thought they’d have warned guests about this in advance, hotels usually do. There’s not enough sun beds around the pool, that’s really annoying! There’s a few broken ones they’ve just left out - put them away out of sight! I now see what some reviews said about the water being dirty, although I suppose this isn’t the hotels fault and has changed since the photos were taken?! But they should certainly net the clumps of rubbish out! We’ve come from the other side of the island where the water was clear and beautiful so is a shame. Overall I’d prob go again due to the nice grounds but not stay in the bungalows as they need upgrading to be more weather and noise resistant.

$200 per night for overwater bungalow is seriously not worth the money. 1. Room is small and old. 2. Bathroom and main room share same overhead space and air. So if you poop in the bathroom the air will overflow to the main room. 3. No Tv. 4. You can't go swim in the sea and expect to climb back up to the bungalow. the ladders are filled with barnacles. very sharp. And ladder is broken and eroded by the sea. 5. Electricity is stopped for half day during the stay. 6. Breakfast is so so. 7. No grab food delivery available in area. 8. No nearby shops or restaurants. Only thing good about room is the view. Which we can get in any other hotels in PQ in my opinion.

I’ve stayed at hostels with better experiences. This is probably the worst place I’ve stayed in my entire life. The hotel is located at possibly the worst place on the entire island, taking you at least 40 mins to get to decent beach. The water outside the hotel was black although the island has beautiful beaches and water. The pool was tiny and not very pleasant to swim in. But the worst thing is actually the service. The staff had little to none English skills, which would be ok if they had some social intelligence. The breakfast was a big disappointment after being woken up at 7 am every morning to loud construction work noise. Literally the resort from hell. STAY AWAY AT ALL COST!!

Disappointing Stay||The staff was polite and helpful, but unfortunately the overall experience was very disappointing. The bay looked nothing like the photos — instead of clear, green waters, it appeared neglected and full of debris.||Our first night was completely sleepless due to the air conditioning, which caused loud vibrations through the wooden walls. The water villa itself was quite basic and clearly lacked proper maintenance.||We were moved to a higher-category room the following day, which we appreciated, but the issue persisted as one of the air conditioning units was still extremely noisy.||The spa seemed to be used as the manager’s private living space, and the restaurant did not have several items listed on the menu available.||Staying in a remote location should guarantee a peaceful and well-maintained environment — unfortunately, this was not the case. Overall, the property felt neglected and far from what was advertised.||⸻
