Exceptional experience here as a couple.. we booked room at the ground floor with pool access and absolutely loved the vibes.. it’s a beautiful property with so much greenery around. There are 3 restaurants serving various kinds of food but we loved their Spanish one .. breakfast is huge with many options for everyone.. pool is amazing with a bar located right at the centre.. beach experience is super as it’s like a personal one with only hotel guests are visiting.. overall loved the place and experience

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Phu Quoc. The view is absolutely beautiful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the service is excellent. Every staff member was warm, friendly, and always willing to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable. A special thank you to *Q Trang* at the front desk for her kindness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality. Wishing you all the best with your internship and great success in your future career! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Phu Quoc. We would definitely love to stay here again!

Our stay in Sol by Melia Phu Quoc is amazing. The location of the hotel is perfect, right on the beach and a close distance from the main road. The weather in Phu Quoc is lovely in February, it's not too hot and has a cool breeze from the sea. The room was clean and spacious and has nice furniture. The view of the sea from our balcony is stunning. The breakfast has plenty of choices to choose from and the food is very good. The staff are friendly and helpful, kudos to Karyl and Lady from the Philippines, and all the staff that made our stay extra special.

I had a wonderful stay here. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, making it a perfect place to unwind. Every staff member was incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive. From the moment I arrived, they helped with our luggage and made the check-in process smooth and welcoming. The hotel offers a wide variety of restaurants and activities, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The complimentary afternoon tea was excellent and exceeded our expectations. A special thanks to THU TÂM for the outstanding service during afternoon tea. She carefully introduced the tea selections, helped us find comfortable seating, and even offered additional cakes. Her attention to detail and genuine hospitality made the experience truly memorable. If you're looking for a peaceful place to stay near the airport, I highly recommend this hotel. We were very impressed and would love to come back again.

I had a wonderful stay at SOL by Meliá Phu Quoc. One of the highlights of the experience was definitely the food. Every dish was delicious, fresh, and well-prepared. The hotel offers a great variety of menu options, from local Vietnamese dishes to international cuisine, so there was always something enjoyable to try every day. What impressed me the most was Chef Trent Whelan. He is such a warm and welcoming person who truly cares about the guests’ dining experience. His personalized service, attention to detail, and friendly interaction made us feel special throughout our stay. It is rare to meet a chef who is not only talented, but also genuinely passionate about hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Phu Quoc — the hotel, food, and especially the hospitality from Chef Trent Whelan made the experience unforgettable.

Firstly, the hotel grounds and pool area is beautiful! However, this hotel is absolutely not worthy of a 5 star rating as advertised. 3.5 -4 max. The beach photos they are advertise are a flat out lie and photo-shopped , and should be removed from all their sites. It is not a white sand pristine beach. See my picture comparison of reality vs their website. The food & drinks are incredibly expensive, the most expensive I’ve seen in my 2.5 months of travel so far, and only staying in 5 star places. The burger at the beach food truck is similar to a meal in fine dining in nha trang, da nang or hoi an. The cocktails are double . For this reason alone I wouldn’t return. The wifi is terrible and unusable for anything other than simple messaging or browsing. The rooms initially appear decent (though very small) but after being in them after first glance you see the dirt built up in the corners, and crevices. VERY BUGGY in rooms, cockroaches, beetles, ants, flying ants, ladybugs, etc. I understand I’m in a tropical location and having been for 2.5 months, I haven’t seen a hotel room and hallways quite so buggy . We only tried one restaurant so far, but it was not good, and with the prices, we will go off resort for rest of our stay. I booked a twin bed room but they told us the third party travel partner did not relay that and they wouldn’t change us to a twin room. The staff were lovely dealing with our upset about this and*update ended up switching us the next day which was nice of them to put so much effort into resolving. Overall, since we got a deal and paid about $80 usd a night, it’s a nice place to stay. But had i paid any more than that I would not recommend

We enjoyed our stay at SOL by Melia, we were 3 families with children and spent 3 nights at the hotel. Everything was great, honestly didn't had much time to explore the services and facilities properly coz first day we arrived late in evening and check-in process was smooth and professional. Next both days we had full day tours, we left quite early in morning and came back by 7.30 PM and went straight out to have dinner. The only meal we had at the hotel was our breakfast which was included in our booking and I could say it wasn't a lot of variety but seems sufficient. We were all Non-vegetarians and with eggs, breakfast is always a smooth ride. Alongside we had rice and noodles and some fruits, so it was all good. Rooms were clean and good size and we didn't had any issues with housekeeping. All in all a good stay in Phu Quoc and would certainly recommend to anyone looking to stay in a good location for easy pickups for your tours in Phu quoc.
