I recently stayed at Wyndham Garden Phu Quoc, and overall it was a pleasant experience. The resort is clean, comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. While everything was good, there wasn’t anything particularly outstanding that made the resort stand out. It offers a comfortable stay, but the overall experience is fairly standard. The breakfast was decent, although the variety of dishes was quite limited. The biggest advantage of this resort is its location. It is situated within the Vinpearl complex, making it very convenient to visit VinWonders Phu Quoc, Vinpearl Safari, and Grand World. From our balcony, we could even enjoy the nightly shows at Grand World without leaving the room, which was a lovely bonus.

I love this kids friendly hotel. There are many facilities in Grandworld hotel. There's a huge playground called Kids club and an amazing swimming pool for guests staying in the hotel. No extra charges to use their facilities. Staff at kids club were very friendly towards the children. They take good care of the kids and keep the place clean. There's halal buffet at the hotel for Muslims. Many halal eateries around the hotel too. Highly recommended hotel stay for everyone travelling with young kids.

This hotel was designed to suit both middle-class and upper-class guests. It is truly worth the money compared to other hotels with the same star rating where I have stayed before. Even the food and spa prices are very reasonable. My family and I really enjoyed our stay. Thank you to the hotel management and the very kind staff for the wonderful hospitality.

I had a wonderful stay at Wyndham Garden Phu Quoc, and one of the standout aspects was the exceptional room service. The team was prompt, courteous, and always ensured that everything was delivered exactly as requested. It really added a layer of comfort and convenience to our stay. The housekeeping staff also deserve special mention—they did a fantastic job keeping the room spotless and well-maintained every single day. Their attention to detail and consistency made a noticeable difference. Another big plus is the convenience factor. There’s a 24x7 supermarket located right opposite the hotel, which makes it incredibly easy to grab essentials, snacks, or anything you might need at any hour. The location of the hotel is ideal, especially if you’re planning to explore the northern part of Phu Quoc. It provides easy access to many attractions in that area, making it a great base for sightseeing. That said, one area for improvement would be the breakfast spread. While the variety is decent, it was surprising to see no Indian food options, especially considering that a significant portion of the guests—around 25%—appeared to be Indian. Including a few Indian dishes would greatly enhance the overall experience for many travelers. Overall, a very comfortable and convenient stay, with just a small scope for improvement in the breakfast offerings.

We had a splendid stay at Wyndham Garden until the day of check out. Our flight was early morning so we scheduled a taxi to pick us up at 5:30am for our flight at 8am. When we went to check out we were asked to wait for 5-10mins while the staff checks the room. This was NEVER communicated when we checked in neither did we receive a call the night before check out confirming that we needed to give them time to check our room. Firstly, the lady at the front desk at that time (09/06 @5:31-5:33am) was completely rude and aggressive in her approach. Secondly, it was unfair to expect us to wait when we scheduled a taxi to pick us up at a time that would avail us an opportunity to make our flight on time without rushing. Thirdly, she kept shouting at me about how its hotel policy/ standards and I wish the hotel communicated this at the point when I checked in. It also seems this is something that came up because of previous incidents but we cannot all be subjected to how other people do things. Something like this would be great: “Hello, welcome and here is your room number etc. Please be informed that we will need to check your room before you leave. May we ask for your flight time or taxi schedule on the day of check out so we know what time to have our staff come to your room.” Lastly, she mentioned that because we did not leave a deposit we needed to have them check the room but NO ONE ASKED us for a deposit. I did not appreciate trying to keep me waiting when my taxi was already waiting for me. Poor logical reasoning and lack of respect for guests when they finally check out. Please review your hotel policies because it will not work this way and I will never miss my flight for your own poor planning.

Good Potential, but Some Areas Need Improvement This hotel has great potential and could easily become a 5-star place if some things were improved. Overall, it is a good place to stay, especially for families, and it offers many positive experiences. The hotel has a children’s playground and kids-friendly facilities, which is a big plus. The food is generally good, and the staff are very polite, friendly, and welcoming. Almost every staff member greets guests warmly, which creates a pleasant and friendly atmosphere. Cleanliness is handled well, and the hotel looks tidy and well maintained. Guests waiting are often offered tasty drinks, which is a nice touch. However, the hotel gets extremely crowded, especially because it receives a very large number of tourists every day. By around 9 PM, the swimming pool is usually overcrowded. Due to the high number of guests, the pool water sometimes feels slightly dirty. Another issue is noise. Loud Vietnamese music is played in different areas, especially in the kids club, where music is almost always playing at a high volume. This can be uncomfortable and even cause ear pain after some time. The food quality also seems to depend on the chef of the day — sometimes it tastes very good, other times not as much, which makes the experience inconsistent. In conclusion, this hotel has many strong points and a friendly atmosphere, but crowd control, noise levels, and pool maintenance need improvement. With better management in these areas, it could become an excellent hotel.

This hotel is chaotic. When we first arrived, they took us to a room that already had someone else’s luggage inside. They apologised and moved us to another room, but that’s not something that should ever happen. The food is very disappointing. It’s all-inclusive, with plenty of options and unlimited drinks, but the quality is poor and the taste is below average. The swimming pool is extremely crowded -completely packed, with no sense of space or relaxation. There is no luxury feel at all. As someone who loves coffee, this was another letdown. Even small street cafes in Vietnam serve much better coffee. Here, it’s honestly terrible. If my travel agency hadn’t booked this, I would never have chosen it. If you’re coming from a Western country expecting privacy, quality and a relaxing experience, this is not the place.

Location: good at the Grand World Phu Quoc. There are marts in 1 minute walking distance (from the back entrance). Local food options available in 2 minutes walking distance. The varied kind of food options are right there in the Grand World. Cleanliness: goodService: Huge scope of improvement. The check in queue tends to get really long at peak hours. That kind of wait in the check in queue, after a long journey, can be really irritating. The check in process needs to improve, to become smooth and quick. Also, we had to physically go to the lobby and request room cleaning service (the usual daily room cleaning). Staff: Extremely polite and friendly.
