  Stumbled across Mark and his bikes and so pleased we did! He gave us unexpectedly superb service! Not only are the bikes in excellent condition with a range of options and rented over full 24 hours but he talked us through what would suit us best based on our plans for the day. He was careful to provide excellent road safety guidelines and when asked for suggestions, was able to share many ideas based on his own experiences and understanding the types of sights we were looking for. To top it off, when we returned the bike and told him what we’d paid for the fuel (which caught us by surprise as we were expecting under 100,000 vnd) he quickly and resolutely committed to resolving the overcharge and, not thinking he’d have any luck, we didn’t have our hopes up. We wandered past a couple of days later and he had done what he promised and obtained a refund which he happily returned to us. What a bloody gem and awesome find in amongst many bike hire places where you might not feel quite as confident about what you’re paying for and certainly would never receive such excellent, genuinely friendly service. Highly recommend!

  Rented a scooter here and had a really smooth experience. Mark, the owner, was super helpful and easy to talk to – he explained everything clearly and made sure we were comfortable before heading out. The scooter was in good condition and didn’t give us any trouble at all. Overall, everything just worked as it should. Would definitely recommend.

  Absolutely outstanding service from Kung Phu Marks - Motorbike Rentals in Phu Quoc! Mark, the owner, is an incredibly kind, honest and helpful person. When we had to return our two scooters, my friend unfortunately got sick with a bad cold, so I first returned only one scooter after refueling it. When Mark saw that I was about to walk all the way back to the hotel to get the second scooter, he immediately offered his help and drove me there on his own scooter so I wouldn’t have to walk in the heat. I also told him that we were in a hurry because we had to leave for the airport soon. He then told me not to worry about refueling the second scooter at all. After I parked the second scooter, he once again drove me back to the hotel himself. When we arrived, I of course wanted to give him money for the fuel plus a tip for all his kindness, but he strictly refused to take anything. This level of kindness, honesty and customer service is extremely rare nowadays. I can warmly recommend this rental company to everyone visiting Phu Quoc. Thank you again, Mark!

  Mark, the owner, is an incredibly kind person. He is a native English speaker, which made communication super easy and clear. From the start, he was friendly, welcoming, and took his time to help me. The only reason I didn’t end up renting a bike here was simply because almost all bikes were already rented out. Apart from a small 50cc scooter, the only bigger bike available at the time was pink, which wasn’t really my style, and I also didn’t love the handling — but that’s purely personal preference. What really stood out to me was that even for the test ride, he checked important things like the tire pressure. That’s something I haven’t seen at any other rental place — not even when I specifically asked. This level of care and attention to safety really says a lot. He also gave me helpful tips and shared valuable local advice. Even when I told him I would check out other places, he was not negative at all — quite the opposite. He continued to help and even warned me never to leave my passport as a deposit anywhere. Mark seems like a big-hearted, honest person who genuinely cares about people, not just business. That alone deserves 5 stars. Thank you!

  Rented a scooter here for a few days and couldn't be happier. Mark is a native English speaker which was a welcome change after 3 weeks of travelling through Vietnam, and on top of that he was super friendly, honest, and straightforward — no nonsense, just genuine help. He also gave us some really useful tips for navigating the island, which made a big difference. As first-time riders, we specifically went for the 50cc scooters — not because no license is required, but because they're lighter, easier to handle, and much more manageable for beginners. And honestly, don't let the engine size fool you — there was plenty of power for getting around the island comfortably. The smarter choice all round. Scooters were 100% new as well which is kind of rare in rental shops. No brainer choice for scooter rental.

  This place is truly amazing. I popped in to enquire about moped hire and mark was amazing. All the bikes are very new and I tiptop condition. If you want the safety and best hire place on the island then come here. Mark runs the show and is English and will assist you in every way he can a real gent. If you want the best bikes with the best maintenance and professional service. This is the place. Amazing value and quality. No where else matches this place .

  OMG WHERE TO START!!!! From the moment we stumbled onto Kung Phu Marks we were treated with such friendliness and a genuine desire to want to help us and make our time Here in Phu Quoc a holiday to remember!! Mark was so knowledgeable about the island and gave us so much confidence and encouragement to ride around the island on his scooters (which he has names for 🤣) I don’t think we would have explored as much as we did if it was not for Mark! The bike selection was incredible and he had a newer selection! Unfortunately We left our lights on and killed our battery and we were a half hour away from Mark. We WhatsApp Mark and he immediately said “ send me your location I’m leaving now!” We were shocked!! He drove all the way to us fixed the bike and guided us all the way back home!! 🤩 I don’t believe this would have happened if we went with someone else! We felt totally safe and taken care of by Mark! We liked him so much that we felt the need to stop by and say hi every day of course while getting amazing ice cream next door!! 😜 Another amazing thing mark did over and above the rental.. we messaged him and asked where to see some nice beaches up north of the island and he sent us a detailed video of what we should do where to stop and again encouraged us to explore!!! It was fantastic!! Lastly, he has a woman who he rents a space to for her tour company to help people with tours on the island her name is Thuy. She is the sweetest woman who is so kind and trusting as well and is so helpful for tours or any advice!! We are so sad to leave today and it’s mostly because of Mark and Thuy and their kindness and how they made our trip better than we could have expected!! Thanks again Mark we can’t wait to meet again!! 🥰 🏍️ 🏝️ 🏖️

  Perfect scooter rental and personal service The rental process was professional and seamless. Mark personally takes care of his guests. He even shared some insider travel tips about the island.
