  I had the most wonderful day island hopping with John's Tours yesterday. We had the most amazing tour guide, Hong, aka as Emma. She was incredibly professional, vivacious and outgoing! She had the most amazing sense of humour and readily went out of her way to make our day exceptionally enjoyable. The weather was perfect for snorkeling in the clean, crystal clear water amongst beautiful shoals of fish, sea life and colourful corals on the reef, at the various islands we stopped at. We were treated to a delicious lunch on one of the islands and I met fantastic fellow travellers which was amazing. I chose to do the para gliding experience at Thom Island which was absolutely breath taking! We rode the cable car from Thom Island to Sunset town and I was safely delivered back to my hotel after a full day's tour of the magical islands! I would highly recommend John's Tours for the Island hopping experience and especially our tour guide Hang, who made our day fun and laughter filled ! 10/10 for this tour.

  We did the Three Island Snorkelling tour and had a blast. I was very impressed at how well organized this tour was. The bus driver picked us up with no wait time and moved us to their boat. They took us to 3 different islands. We snorkelled on the first two islands and hung out at a beach club at the 3rd. The meal on board was very simple but good, the coral reef snorkelling had plenty of colourful fish and lots to see. The inflatable water slide on the back of the boat was a lot of fun. I would recommend this tour. FYI approximately 65 people on this tour with masks, snorkels and life jackets for everyone .

  We took a tour of the three islands with the cable car at the end. The boat was very comfortable and thanks to its slow speed, we were able to enjoy the view and the sea breeze! The food was also delicious 😊 I would like to thank Stella for her help with the booking and our guide Tan for organising everything with smile !

  Our tour operator was Bella, we had booked the 4 island tour. She had organised everything very well. There was little to no wait time from our pick up point to each island. Great locations, however, the lunch buffet had very limited options and we were told they would have many seafood options (however, that wasn’t the case sadly). The snorkelling experience could’ve better if we had more time and more area to swim, hope the tour operation takes this consideration. Overall, it was a worthwhile trip. Would definitely recommend 👍

  The tour was well organized and we had a good time except for some caveats… DO NOT get the slow boat..we did the 3 islands tour but the boat was way too slow and for 3 more dollars you can save way more time between islands which gives you much more time. The main office has a bathroom so definitely try to squeeze one out before a long bus ride + a long boat ride. The boat also has a bathroom which wasn’t terrible. The lunch on boat was great , super healthy and homecooked right on the boat. The first location wasn’t great, and I can’t believe they consider that an island as part of the “3 islands”. water not super clear and not too much marine life. The second spot was much better. The third island is where you get off the boat and onto the island with actual amenities like bar and restaurant and bathrooms. Overall it was a nice day but if I could redo it, I would not choose the slow boat.

  We did the tour that includes the cable car, the Aquatopia, one snorkelling stop and one beach stop and it was too much for one day. The group was large and we spent a lot of time waiting around for the group to reassemble. The cable car and waterpark is worth one day and the snorkelling was beautiful. The beach stop was lovely but too crowded and too commercial. The food on the boat was average for Vietnam. Our guide Viet was really very good and tried his best.

  There was only really good thing about this tour and it the lunch. I bought the luxury four island tour. This was a three ring circus . Boat was old , had to climb through one boat to get onto our boat. We were asked him to show up at the designated spot for pick up at 8:30 which we did. We were driven to the office location. Where we waited for a half an hour for other guests to arrive. Then we went on another hour ride to pick up other guests arrived at the marina after 10 o’clock in the morning. Our first stop was supposedly for a bathroom break, we had only been on the boat for 15 minutes at this point. this was a targeted marketing scam to watch a presentation on sea walking to see if anybody wanted to purchase this Excursion . Then we Went to the first Snorkelling Island, stayed there for about half an hour. Drove 10 minutes to another spot where we stayed for again, a half an hour. Then we went around the corner drove one minute to another.”island” which was still connected to the island we just left and some people had even snookered there already. Stayed there for 20 minutes , Then went to the lunch on an island about 10 minutes away. which was very organized And decent. Then we went to the fourth island which we were supposed to relax and enjoy an hour and a half. This was impossible. There were hundreds of people crammed onto a small beach. You were expected to rent a lounge chair for 100k Dong. Or sit on a wooden bench for an hour and a half. The view was a crowded docks with all kinds of boats. All the islands are owned by the same groups, johns tours. it’s just a tourist trap disguised as a snookerling

  We did the 4 Island tour incl. Cable car. We were picked up from our hotel and were driven to John's HQ. Somehow the initial confusion were we had to go was overcome by three or four hectic unfriendly ushers and we ended up in a bus with two large groups of animatedly arguing co-travellers. Then, in comes MU - our guard(!) with his best friend - a Megaphone. We had the mixed blessing of sitting one of the two remaining seats near the front in the bus. While the air was significantly better than further back, the seats also offered proximity to the cone of his megaphone - an experience I wish no-one. Not sure if MU had customer relation training but he sure tried successfully to keep us in line. That was until one group of co-travellers did not quite make it to be at the arranged meeting point on time. It took him more than 30min to contact them and he was told that we would still have to wait 10 more min as the group made it slowly out of the water park. We could have just left them as it was the last stop anyway. The best part of the trip was the snorkeling, but we spent a lot of times listening to sales presentations. The Seawalking promotional video must have been taken with enhanced cameras - I have attached a screenshot of a real video taken on a normal sunny day for you to judge. Finally, the drone video provided was a nice touch but still could not convince me to recommend this tour operator.
