Just a perfect two weeks at La Veranda. This was our second visit after a 13 year gap. We cannot over stress how wonderful every aspect of our stay was. Our garden villa was just so beautiful, really spacious, extremely comfy large bed, powerful walk in shower, great aircon and all kept immaculately clean by the housekeepers. The private beach is very clean and fine sand with plenty of spaciously spread out, comfy beds. There is a beautiful pool area as well with a large enough pool to do lengths in. Then there is the bar and restaurants, just wow. We ate at both the downstairs bar and the upstairs restaurant many times and the food was exceptional, no matter what you chose and it all overlooks the exquisite gardens and beach. There are complimentary wine receptions every Saturday, rum punch (note very strong rum punches!) on Tuesdays, yoga and meditation sessions every day and also the very wonderful afternoon teas done twice a week, all complimentary. We even had free cocktails each evening while we there by recompense for the maintenance work that was happening which wasn't particularly disruptive anyway and had to be done due to recent typhoon damage incurred. Now to the people who work incredibly hard to look after everyone WITHOUT EXCEPTION! The service is exceptional but the friendliness and helpfulness of everyone was at a completely different level. Whilst I cannot mention everyone, special thanks should go to Sam the Guest Experience Manager. Everyday he mixes with all the guests, checking in with everyone and making sure everything is perfect. He remembers your name and is just a lovely guy who works incredibly hard. Sunny, one of the waitresses, is just a joy! Always a massive winning smile and so enthusiastic about everything. Then there is the live band who play in the bar each night. Brilliant musicians and singers with a massive catalogue of songs. Joy and Stewart (named after Rod apparently!) are also just lovely to talk to as well and really friendly. Then there is the rest of the waiting team, the head chef who takes time to speak to all his restaurant guests each evening and all the beach/pool staff who were all just amazing. My new favourite hotel in the world! We won't be leaving it 13 years till our next visit. ❤️

Wonderful hotel. French colonial in style and has a real gatsby feel. Really didn’t leave the resort much. Food and drinks are exceptional and their signature cocktail is divine. Spotlessly clean but their greatest asset is the staff. Every single person was really attentive, professional and friendly. Just really wanted to make our stay here memorable and it was. Without doubt would stay here again

A peaceful tropical retreat in Phu Quoc My stay at La Veranda Resort Phu Quoc – MGallery was truly memorable. The resort is hidden within a lush tropical garden, creating a peaceful atmosphere that makes you feel relaxed the moment you arrive. It is the perfect place to slow down, disconnect from the busy world, and simply enjoy nature. The resort’s French colonial architecture gives it a timeless elegance. The rooms are beautifully designed, comfortable, spotlessly clean, and very well maintained. Housekeeping does an excellent job every day, making the stay even more enjoyable. One of my favorite parts of the resort was its private beach. It is quiet, clean, and never feels crowded, making it an ideal place to watch the sunrise, take a walk, or simply listen to the sound of the waves. Every staff member I met was warm, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. Their attention to detail and sincere hospitality made me feel at home throughout my stay. Breakfast offers a wide variety of Asian dishes alongside European favorites. I especially enjoyed that the soup changes every day, adding something new to look forward to each morning. For dinner, the restaurant serves elegant Western cuisine with Vietnamese influences, while also offering authentic Vietnamese specialties. I would highly recommend this resort to older travelers looking for a comfortable and relaxing holiday, as well as younger travelers who appreciate peace, nature, and a slower pace of life. Whether you’re traveling as a couple, with family, or on your own, this resort offers a truly restorative experience. I would happily return and will definitely recommend La Veranda Resort Phu Quoc – MGallery to my friends and family.

The rooms are a bit dated, and the facilities aren’t the newest. The swimming pool is the same – it’s not a modern luxury pool, but it’s well maintained. That said, this place has its own charm. The sunsets are absolutely beautiful, and the peaceful atmosphere makes it a wonderful place to relax and unwind. If you’re looking for the latest luxury facilities, this may not be the right choice. But if you appreciate stunning sunsets and a quiet, relaxing getaway, I’d definitely recommend it.

This is, without a doubt, one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The rooms are large and spotlessly clean. The style, the atmosphere and presentation of the buildings are amazing but the highlight, is the warmth and professionalism from the staff. Each staff member went out of their way to make sure that we had the best experience during our stay. Will not hesitate to return and cannot recommend this resort highly enough.

The resort is everything we imagined, with the greens and the beach view. It was clean, except for a few ants which is expected given the nature. Service was great as I could make requests through WhatsApp. Daily yoga and massages at the Tinh wellness centre were excellent for recharging and refreshing. The massages were certainly different from those at the streets. The service from the staff was impeccable too. Would be better if there were more activities within the resort and if guests could be informed of the activities before the stay. Perhaps it's the monsoon season, the waves were huge and the beach was not totally clean (even though staff cleans it daily). It didn't seem suitable for water sports or swimming. Location was convenient as we were near eateries and spas. King Kong mart is also within walking distance. The only downside is the direct street outside which was hard to walk because of how narrow it is.

Phu Quoc is definitely having a bit of a moment—and not necessarily a good one. The island is pretty challenged by this massive construction boom; you’ve got these weird, half-finished concrete developments and Mediterranean-style villages popping up everywhere that feel completely at odds with the landscape. But honestly, the second you roll into La Veranda, all that noise just stops. It’s like stepping back in time to a version of Vietnam that actually has a soul.||The place is absolutely beautiful—properly verdant and lush, like the gardens are just trying to swallow the buildings whole. It’s peaceful, calm, and incredibly serene, which is exactly what you need when the rest of the island feels like a giant building site. It’s got that old-school colonial vibe with the dark wood and white shutters, but it doesn't feel stuffy.||The service was nothing short of exceptional. Everyone seems genuinely happy to be there, and it shows in the little details. Breakfast was a daily win, too—just wonderful, high-quality food that you actually look forward to getting out of bed for.||But I’ve gotta give mad props to Sam, the guest experience manager. That guy is a legend. If you look at what anyone else is saying about the place, Sam’s name comes up constantly, and for good reason. He’s the one making sure everything is seamless, whether it’s sorting out a local tip or just checking in to make sure you’ve got a drink in your hand. He’s got this reputation for being the heartbeat of the resort, making you feel like you’re staying at a mate’s incredibly fancy estate rather than just another hotel.||If you’re heading to Phu Quoc and want to actually find some peace while the cranes are spinning elsewhere, this is the spot. Stay here, see Sam, and you’ll be right.

Good hotel. Overall well maintained and beautiful lush garden. It was nice that they offered us free afternoon tea. Pool is small. Rooms are quite small too. Shower needs improvement as they only offer simple shower head that’s all. Beds could also be be a bit more comfortable. Nice and friendly service by Mr Khoy. We appreciate.
