  Really good balance of Value hotel with great standards. Quiet location. 20 mins walk to beach. Most have scooters at 150vnd per day. Grab into city is 90vnd. The secret is having a bike to Ong Lang beach where you can rest under trees and swim in beautiful waters. This place is very good. We are here for 3 weeks. Email Mr Anh for a good price on booking:)

  We decided to visit Phu Quoc. I decided to stay a little further out from the busy downtown area. After reading a few reviews for this location, I booked 3 nights at the resort. We arrived a few hours early. The resort manager (Huu Anh) greeted us at the front desk with a friendly smile. He quickly checked us in without any problem. He upgraded us to a pool side room with no additional charge. The room was awesome and very clean. While we were there the manager assisted us with renting 2 scooters. $6 dollar each for 1 full day. Overall, the resort was fantastic. The place was nice and clean. The breakfast was delicious. All the staff were kind, friendly, and helpful. I would definitely recommend others to come to Bambusa Resort. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

  This is the perfect place to unwind and relax. The setting is so lovely...leafy, green and tranquil with a great pool to enjoy. The beds are super comfy. The breakfast is very good and the morning team can't do enough to cater for your every need. Special mention to Preppy for that! The staff and the service provided was excellent . Thank you Mr Anh for all your help and running such a courteous, efficient and friendly team. We personally liked the location being in a quieter part of Phu Quoc. It's easy to get about on a scooter or use the bikes which are at your disposal. Otherwise it's a 10 mins walk to a handful of really good restaurants. ( we ate at Rambutan multiple times) The hotel offers a shuttle service too. Small price to pay for the blissful tranquility you'll find here away from the hustle and bustle of the main town. We spent a very happy 3 wks here at the start of a 10 week tour of Vietnam. So pleased we found this place ...we'd gladly return in a heartbeat.

  It's a little further away from the beach than I expected, but the territory is just great, bed is comfortable, everything is nice and clean. Staff is cute and welcoming. Great breakfast too! I loved it.

  The vibes at Bambusa Resort were incredibly chill and the service very helpful. The resort was quiet and off the beaten path, away from some of the louder tycoon resorts, which was a huge plus for us. It’s located not far from the ocean, however still a little trek if you’re looking for beach front. That being said it is peaceful due to its location further afield yet still close to many places to get food and coffee.

  I am in the taxi writing this review to go to airport! My pair of Burberry sunglasses were missing and they did not even care to talk with the cleaners who took it! I left it in my room without the case and next day they were missing. Checked luggage multiple times and the hotel said “we will contact you if we find” The room and hotel are far away from 3 stars expect 2 or 1 star Western Hotel. The hot water does not work properly and the room is full of dust! Let’s talk about the food which if you have any allergies you will not get any information . There is no info for the product too so I got worried straight away. The fruits they keep them in the fridge but they will not let you eat them for free as you have just watermelon and passion fruit in the morning but mango and dragon fruit just for decoration ! It is far away from everything and attracts people who like to drink in the night so you will see them with 2 litres of wine under the table! The sea is full of rocks and people from the nearby hotel so please do not bother to walk 20 min in the sun for absolutely nothing( sunbed 500k/hour) I gave 1 stars for the aircon as that one was the only thing! Take this as an honest review as me and my husband been fooled! Thank you P.S: the Woodhouse restaurant nearby that one is another scam!

  What can we say about Bambusa.... it was a big part of the joy that we had in Phu Quoc. Location seems distant, but it's actually very good. It's away from noise and busy roads, has a wonderful restaurant terrace and swimming pool. The breakfast was great, room very spacious too (photo is of the swimming pool and restaurant/bar terrace from our room). I've seen other reviews indicating that the hotel is old. I didn't feel that it's old. It's clearly not brand new, but you can see it's being constantly maintained and is fully functional in all important aspects. The staff is very helpful too. Some recommendations:- rent a scooter. You can do it in the hotel lobby. It's convenient, affordable, and you are ~10 minutes from Duong Dong, with plenty of restaurants, bars, the night market, etc. We rented a scooter, and used it to move around in the island, to go to some distant beaches, to Duong Dong, Sun World, and so on. - visit the Wood House Restaurant. It's 5 minute walk from the hotel. Truly familiar restaurant with great atmosphere and good food. You can even borrow bicycles in the hotel for free, and be there in 1-2 mins.

  Lovely green place with nice swimming pool, bird sound in nature.... Good service. Easy to walk to beach, bus station and street markets and convenient stores. Anh, the manager are really good. The owener is also very helpful and hospitable. Highly recommended!
