  Great place for coffee & drinks. I got the Vietnamese coffee and it was delicious: they also provide you with a side of cold tea. I love the seats outside and you can watch the vehicles cross by and people watch.

  Nice place, always full by night. Coffee is good and the coconut tiramisu (espresso + coconut) had the taste I was looking for since 3 weeks

  The reviews I saw on this page are ALL Wrong. I don't understand why 11 people LIED about this place; or the proprietors hi-jacked the website; or this is a crazy mixup of communications. But the place at 172A on Hai Ba Trung is not in any way similar to the place described here. The pictures are of a difference place. At 172A Hai Ba Trung I saw today only a small shop with small wooden tables and small plastic chairs and a coffee maker. No food. No class. I had to tell the girls - several times - in Vietnamese and Thai - with the help of a tall boy whom they turned to because apparently he understood English better than they did - though they spoke enough English to know th word for "coffee" since it is the same word in Vietnamese and I pointed the menu - AMericano - which is the word they use here for plain coffee. And I repeated a couple more times that I did not want them to put ice in my black coffee. Having learned from the Highland COffee shop that they will sneak ice into my coffee and switch my order from a LARGE coffee, HOT, with NO ICE, and NO SUGAR, to a small glass with 1/4 inch of coffee and then act bewildered when I point out that I paid for a Tall Coffee ..... I made sure they understood that I wanted only Black COffee without any Shti in it --- and that's what I got. This is not the place that is advertised on this web page. I don't know why this wrong information is published here. But I know that the Den Coffee shop is also listed online with glowing reviews of the good food and nice people there -- and this is wrong. An American friend who had me meet him there once, and who sent me a map by the airwaves to my phone showing where Den Coffee was located - said that this place had hi-jacked the site of the real Den Coffee. There he claimed he had eaten good food and found the proprietors had been friendly to him and this front for the disabled people was not the same Den Coffee.
