Without a doubt, this was some of the most flavourful food we have eaten we have eaten in Vietnam! This is place is very reasonable priced for the quality of every dish, with most dishes being 70-120 VND. The service was excellent and the waiter was very knowledgeable with the address bonus of being the only foreigners in this place..... which then cemented further that this was a good place (as it was busy). We love this place 10/10!

I love this Vietnamese restaurant! It's always pretty packed, but that's just because the food is so delicious. The stir-fried pork with sour cabbage is absolutely amazing—so flavorful and perfectly cooked. Every time I visit, I leave with a full and happy stomach. The menu offers a great variety of authentic Vietnamese dishes, and I've never been disappointed with anything I've tried. The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, making it a great place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. It's hands down the best Vietnamese food in town, and I highly recommend giving it a try. The crowd is a testament to the quality, and I can't get enough of their amazing dishes. Whether you're a local or just visiting, this place is a must-visit for anyone who loves good food.

Our family stayed in Quy Nhon for 3 days and 2 nights, and we tried many delicious dishes. For our last lunch before heading back to Hoi An, we chose to eat at Com Nha 1989. The restaurant has air conditioning, which was definitely a plus on a hot day. The food took a bit of time to arrive, but everything was flavorful and well-seasoned. Prices were slightly above average, but I’d definitely come back if I have the chance.

I visited this restaurant as part of a tour group. The food was delicious, and the portions were very generous—there was more than enough for everyone. The only downside was that there were quite a lot of flies around, which affected the dining experience a bit. If this issue could be improved, the experience would be much better.

This spot in Quy Nhơn seriously stole my heart (and my appetite!). The food at Cơm Nhà 1989 tastes just like something your Vietnamese grandma would proudly serve – comforting, flavorful, and full of love. I tried a few dishes like the braised pork, sautéed greens, and fried fish – everything was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and went so well with hot steamed rice. Nothing fancy, just real, soulful food. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to come back to again and again. Cozy vibes, great service, and totally worth it.

At this price point the food is good. We had a dinner for 4 people with two different fish dishes and one beef salad, one boiled vegetable and two pots of rice. All of the dishes had a good flavor and a nice appearance. The fish kho was the winner for me. It was really nice. Rice came in aluminum and the rest in porcelain. No plastic here! The location is great, the menu is very large and has pictures and English translations which is a real bonus! Interior design is mediocre but fully expected at this rather cheap price point and type of restaurant.. The staff was attentive, friendly and quick. Toilets and kitchen were very clean as far as we could tell. The only real bummer is the fact that there is an indoor smoking department that isn't fully separated from the rest of the restaurant. Otherwise, this is a really good place to eat and I recommend it. Especially if you like fish and don't fancy paying for "fine dining".

Food is above average but the staff is very unhappy. Management should take better care of their employees. Large menu with lots of options. I like the pumpkin fried roots with garlic and the seaweed soup. Large restaurant in a great location. A bit expensive compared to the rest of the city.

Our family went there after reading reviews and it was quite close to where we stayed…the restaurant looked quite nice and appealing from the outside but once we entered the restaurant (around 4:30pm), it was hot and smelly inside, staffs were still cleaning and getting ready even though it said opening from 4pm. We ordered few Vietnamese traditional home cooked dishes, fresh squeezed orange juice, they were all delicious. However, there were flies flying around our table, bad smell still there…what a shame! Not going back for sure.
