  Food was delicious and very filling. Came here for dinner due to the positive Google reviews and wasn't disappointed. The highlights were the mango juice which was so fresh and fruity and the local sticky rice - crunchy on the outside and sticky on the inside with a nice coconut flavour. It could pass as both a savoury and sweet treat. We ate these with our meals and it was lovely. I've never had something like that and I'm glad I did, it was so good! We also ordered the sizzling beef, duck w/ basil and honey and the fried chicken. The fried chicken was okay but nothing special. Partner got the lemon juice which was refreshing and yum. It was reasonably priced and all up we spent around 1 million dong including a big bottle of water. Would recommend!

  I had the pork hock and it was very delicious. Great size enough to share between 2-4 people. The even cut it up for you to share. That's great service! Just a reminder it is only accessible via stairs.

  So yeah, we went to Anise Restaurant when the weather was a little cold. We were very hungry at that time, and surprisingly, their servings were large-portioned. It was the best meal we’ve had by far the best pork knuckle I’ve ever tasted! If you’re craving authentic Vietnamese food with bold, home-style flavors, this spot is a must-try. The pork knuckle, in particular, was fall-off-the-bone tender, with a crispy, well-seasoned exterior that paired perfectly with the restaurant’s tangy pickled veggies and fluffy rice. Even on a chilly day, the warm, cozy vibe inside made the meal feel extra comforting. Trust me, you won’t leave disappointed!

  Greatest fresh spring rolls in my Vietnam trip (I visited Hanoi and Saigon as well, tried to find smth similar and didn’t succeed). Great chestnut soup, very comfy food. Peach tea was very interesting, extremely sweet tho. As for the service: it was ok, but when we came there were not many customers (closer to none), however, we had to come to encounter and make an order there on our own, as no waiter showed up and paid attention at the start. Nevertheless, it’s a nicely decorated with fresh flowers, cute corner, I would definitely come back to.

  Outdoor dining is the best with a taste of the local wine! The resto is pretty clean and the service is good. Smiling staff and very accommodating. The food is superb - huge plate - enough to fill your empty tummy. I would say the place is child friendly - i have 2 little fella talking and whining around. Tried the local cinnamon wine and it’s pretty strong. It punches your throat all the way down. Haha Overall dining experience is pretty good.

  Highly highly recommended to try pork knuckle. U won’t regret it. Morning glory is one of the best foods as well. The vibe is so chilling & i can’t recommend it enough.

  Deserved all the hype! Pork knuckle is the main show. Bbq sauce very delicious. You can ask bbq sauce for refill. Credit card payment charge fee is about 5%. Big portion good ambience. In March pork knuckel price raised up from the review that i see a year ago it was 425k and now its around 525vnd. It can be for 3 person. If you are asian and need rice, order the big one (70 vnd). The staff will help you cut the pork after you take a picture of the food

  We tried the pork knuckle and stir-fried morning glory. The pork knuckle was well-cooked and the meat was mostly tender, though some parts were a bit tough to chew. Overall, it was good — especially the soft portions. A nice option if you're looking for something different after having a lot of local Vietnamese dishes.
