  Great environment for networking with strangers in healthy mood with cheapest draft beer. However staffs are not friendly at all..

  I’ve come to this bar 5 nights in a row. Beer is cheap, the staff are friendly. Always had a great time here meeting people from all over the world and playing some pool.

  This bar in Sapa looks excellent and has a cozy atmosphere. The barista is very friendly, which makes the place feel welcoming. Drinks are nice and reasonably priced, and it’s a relaxing spot to hang out after exploring the town.

  Clean, quiet during the day with cheap awesome Bahn mi and pool table! Fantastic location and friendly staff :)

  We passed by after lunch with the kids to play a game of pool. Staff were really friendly and welcoming. Let the kids play pool and the various other games they have on offer. Highly recommend to pass time in Sapa

  Pool table was free and lots of other games to play! Beer was good price at 25k each, and they do happy hours too. Have fires going to keep you warm so an all round nice place to be in Sapa

  The two young boys working had very bad attitudes, one was especially worse. Perhaps the worst hospitality we have experienced in Vietnam. Disappointing really, felt really uncomfortable throughout and was scared to ask for anything as we would either get shouted at, eye rolls, or completely ignored. The place has so much potential. Good price. **edit, in response to owners comment. Thank you for your reply, I appreciate you taking the time to respond. In terms of the staff behaviour that I deemed inappropriate, one of the young men was noticeably better than the other. Whilst his customer service could certainly have been improved by being slightly more attentive and polite, his overall attitude was not a major issue. However, the other young man working was extremely rude and standoffish throughout our visit. He barely had any time for us and, at points, responded by shouting, giving dirty looks when we spoke, pulling faces as though we were stupid, rolling his eyes, and quite obviously making comments about us. His overall manner was consistently rude and dismissive. We really did not ask for much at all and are very low-maintenance customers, so this sort of behaviour came as a genuine shock. It was very apparent that there was no manager or supervisor present, as the atmosphere gave the impression of staff “messing around whilst the boss is away.” At times, it genuinely felt as though we were interrupting the boys’ social time and causing a major inconvenience simply by being there. I have worked in hospitality for most of my life, so I completely understand wanting to chat with colleagues and relax between tasks. However, the attitude displayed by this young man is something you would never expect to encounter in a customer-facing role. The way he spoke and carried on was genuinely shocking, most people would not speak to anyone like that in public, whether they knew them or not, never mind a paying customer.

  Genuinely the worst service I’ve had so far in Vietnam. Absolutely appalling from the bar man. We came in for a beer and a bite to eat as we knew they do food. After asking the lazy teenage barman if they do food and he told me no, I picked up the food menu they had hidden behind the counter to show him and then he magically remembered they did do food… i then ordered a banh mi and some fries as well as a couple beers for us both. Good food. There was also the football on the projector which was nice however when the game ended at 8:30pm another game I wanted to watch was on at 9pm. At 10 minutes to 9 the boy went to go turn the projector off to which I asked him if they weren’t showing any more football tonight. He kissed his teeth at me then turned the projector back on whilst clearly and obviously whinging at his other teenage mate behind the bar about me. After I put the match on (I was handed the dodgy firestick remote with subsequent angry rambling) I went back to watch the game and chat with my girlfriend in peace. As she went to light a cigarette she noticed her lighter had died so went up to the bar to ask if any of the staff could let her use their lighter just once as we’d seen them smoking before. The angry teenage barman slammed a lighter on the bar and shouted “5000 DONG!”. My girlfriend asked are you joking? To which he scoffed and just went back to looking at his phone. The other barman was at least kind enough to hand her a lighter for 1-time use. Weve been going to pubs and bars for years and are generally pretty happy with the bare minimum. However this one grumpy and aggressive teenager had managed to turn the whole experience into an incredibly uncomfortable one. We didn’t even stay for the full game as the whole atmosphere was made so intense and awkward by the barman. I’m not sure if the manager/ supervisor wasn’t in today but if they get to read this review, you need to have a serious chat with the two teenage boys who were looking after the bar, especially the one who was rude and shouting at a lady. That service is awful. A massive shame as we only went to this venue because of generally good reviews. The venue itself is a nice sports bar with good prices. The service however spoiled it massively.
