  Definitely a one of a kind place! Good food with gorgeous art displayed all over the cafe, plus the breathtaking views overlooking the mountains. The owner is ridiculously friendly! When we returned from Cat Cat Village, she gave us some jackfruit to enjoy for free. Overall a lovely cafe.

  Gorgeous little cafe located very near the ticket office for Cat Cat Village. The lady running it is absolutely delightful, so kind and welcoming. We visited first thing in the morning for breakfast and later in the evening for dinner. They make amazing egg coffee, highly recommend! Or if you don't like coffee they also do an amazing egg hot chocolate. It's served over a small candle burner to keep it warm regardless of the temperature outside. Really lovely homely meals, with a stunning backdrop of the mountains and valley below to enjoy while you eat!

  We came here upon recommendation and were certainly not disappointed. What a beautiful little place amongst the busyness of Sapa. Calmness and authenticity greet. Great views. Great coffee and food. Great artwork. Great service and lovely owners. We enjoyed watching the craft of making egg coffee and will have a lovely souvenir of a piece of artwork when we return home

  A quiet and lowkey caphe next to Cat Cat village, which we really love. We had a mango smoothie, a black coffee and spring rolls. They're all very good. Food was homemade so it was fresh and tasty. I asked for some coffee waste for body scrub and the lady owner was kind enough to give me a bunch. Just wish we would take more photos

  The name really says it all. Wife and I stopped in for light bite after an afternoon at Cat Cat, and we were smitten by this place. From the moment we walked in, we received great hospitality, delicious soup and coffee, and great vibes. The art is by the owner, and is of the highest artistry. He and his wife have created such an enchanting place, with gentle jazz, and warmth. Thank you for your lovely hospitality!

  We stopped by this cafe before going to Catcat village and we were the only ones there at the time but the owner (I’m assuming) or care taker there was very accomodating and friendly. We ordered their egg coffee, salted cream coffee, and chicken noodles, and they were excellent. The view + food is excellent. Great place to stop by and eat if you’re planning to visit Catcat village.

  Such an underrated place. Apart from the amazing views, the food and coffee was delicious :-) We had the egg coffee, salt cream coffee, beef pho and spring rolls. Everything was great but spring rolls was the best I’ve had!

  Gem Valley offers some of the best food in the area. The dishes are flavorful, well-prepared, and enjoyable. A great spot to dine and relax—highly recommended. Best egg coffee!!!
