  We stopped by Highlands Coffee and the salt coffee was honestly really good — definitely worth trying. If you go back a second time and show your receipt, you get 10% off, so of course we went again and tried some of the food. The pho, though, was a big letdown. The soup was really bland compared to other places in Sapa. Fried rice was good, the pancake was not bad, and the spaghetti was just normal. Nothing amazing, but decent enough. If you sit upstairs, the view is actually really nice, so that’s a plus. Overall, great for drinks (especially the salt coffee), mixed for food, and a good spot if you want a nice view.

  I’m sure the terrace is nice but the coffee was just bad and expensive ( 65k ) Also the orange juice was hot. Add some ice !!!

  Redefining abysmal. You can sometimes tell when the management of a place is awful. There is a pall of misery hanging over this place. We walked in on a, freezing morning and cheerfully asked for two coffees. "Hot or cold? " Asked the gloomy faced boy apparently in charge. We laughed and said "Hot, of course. "Some 10 minutes later I went to see why it was taking so long. A miserable looking girl slouched up to the coffee machine with a plastic bottle of yesterday's coffee dregs and heated a couple of cups worth with steam. We were charged 85k for this travesty of hospitality. Review written from toilet, where the inevitable aftermath is splattering its way out. Avoid at all costs.
