cute cute homestay, highly recomend staying here, staff are very helpful and responsive to their instagram. Gave us everything we needed while there, a contact for transport and suggestions on what to do and where to go. Made our trip very lovely and enjoyable. would happily come back. go here if youre looking for place to stay to disconnect from the busy city life and slow down while away.

A home away from home! Despite the cold weather, felt the warmth of hospitality! Great hosts, great coffee, awesome company. Loved the rooms, it was comfortable and warm. Really enjoyed my stay here, hopefully can be back for more!

Honestly, hands down the best coffees I have had in Vietnam. The host is absolutly charming. The place feels like an authentic wooden house, with subtle decoration that makes it a great blend of old and modern. It invites you to take your time, slowly enjoy a book while enjoying amazing coffee or tea. Many thanks.

Blue Bird of Happiness in Tả Van was one of my most comforting stays in SaPa. Set inside a beautifully preserved 100-year-old Dzay home, the place holds its old-world charm without compromising on warmth or comfort. The wooden structure, the textured walls, the way light filters in through the cracks, it all feels quietly alive, not overly done or forced. I stayed in the “Chilling All Day” room and the bed was warm with soft and ambient lighting. Every corner of the house had a lived-in charm, peaceful, uncurated, but still very aesthetic. The hosts were warm, thoughtful and present when needed, but never hovering. You can feel the care they’ve put into preserving the soul of the house while making it feel welcoming for travelers. It’s also perfectly located for exploring Tả Van by foot, or just sitting still and watching the mountains change with the light. And the salt coffee? I had it out of curiosity when the host offered it and didn’t expect much but it turned out to be one of the most unexpectedly delicious things I had in Veitnam. For travelers looking for a experiential homestay in SaPa, this is an easy yes.

Had the cosiest of stays here at Bluebird. Run by the loveliest of owners ☺️☺️. Stay here if you like spending time with the cutest dogs and cats. Sitting around the fire having good chats and getting lots of good recommendations. Can’t recommend this place enough!

It’s been a while since I visited Luna and Dau in their beautiful homestay. It’s been a very lovely and wholesome experience. I had a long stay for around 1 month and felt right at home. They take a lot of care of many animals and love to sleep in to the day. I never felt guilty waking up late hahaha. Ta Van is an amazing place to reconnect with nature and just feel energies that are not possible to feel in a city. It was an incredible healing experience for me. I also loved their food - beef noodle soup nearly every day 😄 They can provide you with everything you need to have a great experience around Sa Pa. If you’re a more introverted and quiet person - Luna and Dau feel your vibes, this is the place for you!

Truly one of the best beef noodles we've tried and this is not even a full-fledged eatery. They only have beef noodles on the food menu and it is definitely a must-try! The broth is a hybrid between the Taiwanese version and one of the partner, Dau's family recipe, which works very well! You have to visit this place when you're in Ta Van but they have very limited portions daily so please go there early! They are a small establishment so come another day if you cannot get to eat instead of whining like a spoilt brat and give them one star. No one owes you anything.

I came here to eat their famous beef noodle soup and it did not disappoint! It was by far the best soup I had in Vietnam in almost the month I have been here. You can truly taste the love that went into making it. I didn’t know it was a home stay, but after finding out it was, I would like to come Back and stay here for sure. The atmosphere is quite serene, laid back. It felt like being at home having a meal. The womyn that run this place are very welcoming and sweet. They also offer a Batik/Indigo workshop. Treat yourself, come to Bluebird.
