Rooms are very spacious, everything is very clean and in general the whole facility looks completly new. and all of that is for barely 4 dollars a night. There is about 7 to 10 minutes of walk to the center with a bit of incline if that's critical for you. Would recommened, great hostel.

I don't know what others are expecting from a budget backpackers hostel. It has large beds with curtains and good lighting. Bathrooms were clean and had plenty of showers/toilets. That's all you expect from a place like this. I extended my stay. I would recommend.

This was a perfect stay, the bedroom pod was comfortable and cozy, hot shower, great breakfast included and the staff were excellent, they even booked a bus to Ha giang for me, great value I can't fault the place I will stay there again the next time I'm in Sapa!

Everything works. Highly recommended. The only downside of sharing dormitries is when someone snores loudly it's hard to sleep. I had to wear my noise cancellation earbuds. Suggest the owner find a way to segregate heavy snorers - through a questionnaire, and for the good of people who don't snore, disallow such customers from using the dorms.

The Brocade Backpacker in Sapa, Vietnam, was a great stay overall. The hostel is the cleanest I've seen in the area, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my visit. I also really appreciated the free breakfast, which was a nice bonus. There were a few downsides: the beds were rock hard, making it a bit uncomfortable to sleep, and the showers didn’t drain very well. Some shower heads were even coming off the wall, which felt a bit unstable. Also, if you want drinking water, you need to ask the staff since it’s kept locked away in another room. All in all, it’s a good hostel for the price, offering great value if you’re looking for a clean and welcoming place to stay in Sapa.

No sign for building. Heavy construction going on now in the building from 830am , hammering , drilling , vibrating, also room cleaning should start 11am not 830am. On check in, went up n down twice cos bed was not prepared n locker broken. Drep down hill , no social area . Beds comfy and staff was friendly and nice. For the price its good except the construction noise.

I hope you like noodles, because you’ll be eating them every day for breakfast! We weren’t lucky, the other tourists in the room were very noisy, making it very difficult to sleep, and it was like that throughout the hotel. The cabins are comfortable. There was never any toilet paper, which wasn’t very convenient. Otherwise, the staff is friendly.

Mattress is rock hard, but I think this is generally the case in Vietnam. What was the biggest surprise is that it is the first hostel that I stayed in that allows children - which resulted in being woken up at 6am by screaming kids. Extremely loud and uncomfortable. Parents didn’t even try to calm them down, and were playing the music on the phones themselves. Not a bad hostel overall, but because of this I definitely wouldn’t stay again.
