We had a wonderful experience here! The staff went above and beyond to make our friends' birthday celebration extra special, and we truly appreciated the thought and effort they put into it. Their warmth, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality made the whole experience memorable. Great coffee, great atmosphere, and even better service. Thank you for helping us create such a special moment. Highly recommended! ❤️☕✨

The food and coffee were amazing! It is conveniently located near the plaza and lake so it is very easy to spot! We got our breakfast here before leaving for hanoi. Even though I am a huge fan of egg coffee, their iced coconut coffee won my taste buds! Also, their flowers are real—it adds beauty to the café! Overall, the vibe, coffee, and food are great!

I visited Le Petite Gecko during my trip and had a great experience. I tried the beef fried rice and it tasted really good. The portion was nice and the flavor was satisfying. I also highly recommend the coconut coffee. it was refreshing and very delicious A nice place to stop by when visiting Sapa.

A great place to enjoy authentic Vietnamese food in a welcoming atmosphere. The dishes were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel at home. After trying several restaurants during our trip, this stood out for both the quality of the food and the overall dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for traditional Vietnamese cuisine.

Stopped by Le Petit Gecko in Sapa and it turned out to be such a cozy little café to escape the cold and slow down for a while ☕🏔️ The atmosphere was warm, relaxing, and perfect after walking around town all day. The drinks and food were great, but what really made the place special for me was the 3rd floor — definitely the best spot to chill. It felt quieter, more peaceful, and had such a cozy vibe that made me want to stay there for hours just enjoying the view and relaxing. I loved how the café balanced that cute mountain-town charm with a comfortable space where you can actually unwind. Whether you’re stopping by for coffee, brunch, or just a break from exploring Sapa, this place is worth adding to your list. Highly recommend heading straight to the 3rd floor if you visit — it’s honestly the perfect little hideaway to relax and enjoy the atmosphere 🌿🇻🇳

Our tour group had our lunch here. The food portions were big I even wasn't able to finish mine. The price range is mid. The food taste good. The location is good one can watch cars and people passing by.

Steak and Pie in the Sky. She was hankering for steak since we arrived in Hanoi. A quick online search showed Le Petit Gecko having western Steak...not the ubiquitous Vietnamese style sliced top blade beef stir fried with onions and other veggies. Their Steak Options were either with Mashed Potatoes or Frites: Steak au sauce de poivre noir (Beef steak with French black pepper sauce). Steak E Funghi (Beef steak with creamy mushroom sauce). We ordered the Black Pepper with Mashed Potatoes and it was good for the price overall. Tip: order it Medium Rare to lessen the chance of a knife fight with a cow. Tip 2: Their Black Pepper sauce tasted different from the usual Peppercorn Sauce. Suggest to order E funghi sauce instead. They also have an extensive menu selection with local, western and vegetarian options. The staff was warm and ready to serve. Most of them speak English but a simple mobile translate was needed when I asked what cut of beef was their steak and that I wanted it Medium Rare doneness. For improvement: we did not enjoy the Apple Pie. It was dry...maybe we got an older batch? Nevertheless, we are ok to try their other dishes when in the area.

We really liked this place for breakfast. So much so that we returned the next day. Unfortunately the service was sloppy the second time. The granola was still fresh and the mushroom omelette very tasty. Never mind we would still recommend it. Sitting on the first floor balcony is pleasant, if no-one is smoking on another table.
