This homestay is everything one can want coming to the mountains: peace, friendly host, yummy food, best views. The communication was flawless, the host Loan speaks perfect English. She helped us with booking the bus from Hanoi, and organized a taxi also: her husband is a professional driver, so his services are very useful! We arrived late but Loan cooked us dinner in advance, so sweet! The rooms are spacious, clean, the WiFi works well in the room. The location is strategic for a trekking in Ta Van and Lao Chai villages. We were a bit unlucky with weather, but thanks to the homestay we managed to relax and enjoy the rice field views and local food. Thanks to Loan and her family for such warm memories!

Amazing homestay in a great location in Ta Van. Loan and her family were so welcoming and made sure we had a great stay. Rooms are clean and comfortable and the free breakfast is good, overall great value for the price!

Lovely homestay and owners in Ta Van, close to everything but in a quiet area with a huge garden and wonderful views. Rooms are very clean and comfortable beds. Breakfast served banana pancakes. Hot shower and aircon. Breathtaking views from the window. Stayed as family and would definitely come back. No need to go to Sapa, this is much much better!

I enjoyed spending time with the family at the Homestay more than any of my other time in downtown Sapa or sightseeing. Though it is outside of downtown Sapa, this Homestay is worth a visit. Ask to check out the garden at night!

I have booked 2 rooms for 3 nights. Here is my honest review. At the beginning, we wanted to stay 2 nights, but Loan, our host, is so friendly and the house is so beautiful that we decided to stay longer. The room is clean, comfy and has a great view on the mountains. And the garden is so big and beautiful. If I did not need to go back to Hanoi to go home, I will stay longer. We feel so welcomed here. There is a playground for the kids too!

I stayed in Loan's homestay in April and I only have good thing to say: Loan was one of the nicest people I met during my travel in Vietnam, the room was in great condition and had a wonderful view to the garden. The highlight of my stay was when Loan invited me and other guests to her family's home for dinner, an incredible experience. I highly recommend this spot!

The local homestay has a beautiful garden. The room is clean and tidy, with a large comfortable bed. The view from the room is stunning. It overlooks the mountains and the garden. It's a great place to relax. The food was divine, with the ingredients such as the beans grown from her own garden. The pumpkin soup was the best soup l have had so far in Vietnam (I have had many soups). We had sticky rice cakes with Taro centres. They were a delicious sweet treat. The stay is a short walk from a cocktail bar and coffee shops if you want to have a drink out.

We wanted to try a local homestay that was run by locals at Tavan as opposed to staying in a Sapa hotel. This was a nice homestay, very large rooms compared to others I researcher. Also, there is major development by the owners to improve and surrounds and facilities of the homestay. Until then, this is a quaint little homestay that was easy to walk to most things in Tavan Village.
