I loved this free museum! It was a great introduction to the Vietnamese culture of the Ha Giang area and Sapa area. It discussed a lot of their traditions, eating habits, farming techniques, and textile production. It is very clean and well-presented. Easy walk from most hostels!

This little museum provides insight into the history of Sapa, its colonial heydays, trials and tribulations, and uts recent renaissance. What I really enjoyed learning about is the ethnic groups and their traditions. Quite eye-opening. It's certainly worth a visit for the curious traveller. It takes 45 mins to view the e exhibits.

worth visiting if you’re into local history and ethnic traditions. Near Sun Plaza Station and Sapa square

Very interesting museum about the culture and traditions of the different ethnic groups. Free entrance, with a shop downstairs where you can buy souvenirs. I really enjoyed it, but it’s a bit hidden and I just stumbled across this by accident.

Very cool little place to go and see the way they lived and have done things over the years. Could do with some dusting, and slight tidy up. But looked like they were doing some renovations when we went there. Great priced, hand made clothing and other items at the entry.

Drom the main entrance, you need to walk a bit further and go up the stairs to reach the museum. This is free so you can just go in. Its just a small museum depicting their culture and traditions. It has English translations which is nice! Also has a small souvenir shop pn the first floor mostly handmade.

Very cute and affordable local shop on the bottom floor. Free! We enjoyed all the old photos, and information displayed. The building itself is a work of art. They seem to be part way through some renovations so things were a bit dusty. We had the entire museum to ourselves to wonder through at our own leasure.

Pretty disappointing museum. Free. I think it's mostly just a way to get tourists to visit the shops on the ground floor. Exhibits were old and covered and dust and sometimes tarps. Two interesting dioramas and a few good English explanations. If you are passing by and have 10 minutes to spare, it won't hurt to visit (it's free). But definitely don't go out of your way to see here. Watching a YouTube video on the ethnic groups in Sapa would be a better use of your time though.
