We took an overnight train to reach sapa at 8am, but the rooms were to be available at 2pm. We requested them for early check-in to which the tall lady manager demanded extra early check-in charges and separate breakfast charges too, which were denied by us. The good thing was they kept our baggage safely and we went for our sightseeing before taking breakfast in a nearby restaurant.

Stay Date: 02/2026 Travelers: Family trip Overall Rating: ★★★★☆ (4.0 / 5.0) The Best Parts · Spectacular view from the balcony: The view from our room's balcony was absolutely breathtaking! We could truly experience the magical "misty town" of Sapa, and our whole family was captivated. · Convenient location: It was great being within walking distance of the town center (Sapa station / downtown ) There were also convenience stores and local ethnic restaurants nearby, so we never had trouble finding food or daily necessities. Points to Note & Helpful Tips · About the access: While it's an easy downhill walk to the center, be prepared for a steep uphill climb with many steps on the way back. If you're not very confident in your physical fitness or are traveling with young children, you might want to consider taking a taxi or a motorbike taxi. · Room smell: Overall, the room felt clean, but perhaps due to Sapa's humid climate, there was a slight musty or moldy smell. If you're sensitive to smells, bringing a small room fragrance might be a good idea. · Wi-Fi connection: The Wi-Fi was a bit unstable at times, with some difficulty connecting. It might depend on your device, but if you need a stable connection for work, this is something to keep in mind. Room & Amenities · Cleanliness: There was no visible dirt or dust around the bed or in the bathroom. The cleaning was thorough. · Space: The bathroom was spacious and comfortable to use. · Soundproofing: The room was well soundproofed, so we could enjoy a quiet and restful night's sleep. · Amenities: Basic amenities like toothbrushes, a hairdryer, and slippers were all provided. Service & Staff · The staff were generally friendly and helpful, and we didn't encounter any major issues. · They kindly held our luggage after checkout, which was incredibly helpful as we could explore the town without being weighed down before our departure. Recommended For · Travelers who value a stunning view from their room. · Those who want to explore the town center and find dining options on foot. · People who want to feel close to Sapa's nature and can embrace its unique atmosphere (including the humidity and the hills). --- 【In Summary】 This hotel truly shines with its excellent location and beautiful views. While you should be prepared for Sapa's humidity and the hilly terrain, the hotel's charm more than makes up for it. It was the perfect place for our family to create wonderful memories in Sapa!😁

Room was nice. Hardest most uncomfortable bed i have ever slept on. Well, didn't sleep on, because it hurt so much ro lay on it. Breakfast was nothing special and spread over two rooms, so when you finished gathering food stuffs, you had to go back to another room to grab a drink.. Nice location and views! Very nice shower. My toilet leaked for the two days I was there. The noise was unbelievable.

At first, the staff did not properly verify whether the bottle of water had been consumed. They accused me of not paying for it without checking the facts. After inspecting it more carefully, they acknowledged that everything was fine and that I had not used the hotel’s bottled water. Being wrongly accused before any proper verification was frustrating and upsetting, which is why I became angry. I believe the situation could have been avoided if the staff had checked the facts first and handled the matter in a more professional and respectful manner.

- Bed rock hard- would rather camp in a tent next time. - Dirty, dusty floors. - Paper thin walls. Heard the neighbouring person on the toilet, as well as their conversations and alarms on the morning. Very, very disruptive. - the SMELL at the entrance from the pig farm, wafting into the restaurant was a nice touch… - Air conditioning didn’t work. - one young staff member made an effort to help, but the management team and reception staff were incredibly rude and dismissive of our concerns. - did not eat at the hotel as the pig poo smell was so strong.

I checked in yesterday, and the tall lady at the front desk argued with my family because there was an issue with the name on the booking. Today, she told us that we had drunk the water from the small fridge, but we did not. We didn’t even know where the small fridge was. Last night, we bought our own bottled water, so we never used anything from it.

Location is fantastic, very short walk or GRAB to central Sapa.|Mattress is very firm, pillows are very soft.|Room is spacious and comfortable.|Didn't see or interact with any staff so can't comment.|Breakfast buffet is very poor.|Toaster didn't work, eggs were already cooked, cold and hard, bacon was cold. Coffee was horrible.

Stayed 2 nights and the view from the hotel is super with the view of paddy field. The hotel cater more tour group and hence restaurant will be crowded before 7.30am. Need to walk uphill to reach the hotel but quiet and cosy vs staying near to the town.
