What an amazing time we had with Zer, our guide. He adapted the journey for us and took us on some beautiful paths. He has been so good to entertain our kids during the trek and answered with pleasure to all our questions. The homestay where we stayed was perfect and welcoming. We even had a herbal bath to cool off after our walk. We definitely recommend to go with Sapa O Chau. And most of all, it looks to be a good agency supporting the locals.

My brother and I did the 1-day Mt. Fansipan trek. The team at Sapa O’Chau made booking super simple and communicated all the details clearly. Day-of we had some trouble connecting with our taxi and we were staying pretty far out of town, and the team assisted in helping us find our driver and make sure we got safely on the road. Really appreciate them! Once on the trek we had a wonderful time with our guide who kept us at a perfect pace for the challenging, but beautiful hike and made helpful stops for water and snacks without breaking up our pace too much. We stopped for lunch which consisted of yummy warmed sandwiches. At the top he took some great photos of us and then we all headed down on the cable car. Note - our guide also helped book our cable car tickets so we got the slightly cheaper pre-booking rate. Super helpful of him and much appreciated! Would definitely recommend this hike or others with this group :)

We did the 2N/3D Muong Hoa trek with Zhu. She was an amazing guide, patient, friendly, great English and shared with us lots of information about H'mong culture and life. The homestays were clean and comfortable with delicious food straight from the garden. Highly recommend it you want to stretch your legs and have a cultural immersion experience. Thanks Zhu!

Great trek! We did the off the beaten path trek with Mai xuan, she was a great guide and had lots to share about the surrounding environment. It was very lovely to stay in her house and cook with her and her husband. I would 100% recommend doing the herbal bath it was very lovely. Definitely off the beaten track as advertised, we didn’t see a single other tourist!

My sister, bf & I had the BEST time with Zer - we did the 2-night “Giay & Black Hmong” tour. It was fantastic from start to finish. Zer was incredibly knowledgeable & we learnt so much. We got to stay with his family & meet Ma Ma Sa, who we now aspire to be! Views were outstanding & each day was unique - from walking through rice fields, to an intrepid jungle hike (no snakes spotted). The whole experience was unforgettable and exceeded expectations. Thanks a million Zer - as promised, we’ll be back in 20 years with our kids!!!!

Seriously the best experience I’ve had in Vietnam. We did the motorbike day trip to the waterfalls which were amazing and then went all throughout the mountains through the Hmong tribes where we got food and did a fun local craft! Worth every single penny! Our guides were absolutely incredible and actually local Hmong people. I wish I could give 100 stars.

We chose the trek "Off the beaten track" and we had an amazing time. Our guide May Xuan was so joyful and gave us many information on the surroundings, plants, her people the Zao... The sceneries encountered were beautiful, but among everything we really enjoyed the delicious meals prepared by her husband and the relaxing traditional herbal bath before dinner. Only to be recommended!

5/5 for the tour guides Su and Mai. They were excellent, explained everything clearly, and spoke fantastic English. I can't say enough good things about them. 3/5 for the company/administration office. There is a huge discrepancy on pricing and desription of the tour services from their website which needs to be updated. They could not explain the price increase when I requested to book via email. We did two tours: -1 day Waterfall and Sin Chai Village tour: Su was our guide and he was excellent. The itinerary didn't follow what was listed on the website. We had to hike through dense jungle which was not what we were expecting, and the hike was challenging (which we knew but not through a jungle). Had we known that, we would have booked another tour. Again clearer communication is needed. -1 day Terrace View Trek: Mai was our guide and she was also excellent. The walk had beautiful views of the rice terraces and she took great pictures for us. She was also from the Red Dao village and shared stories about her upbringing which is super interesting. Mai answered any questions we had - she had taught herself English which is incredible. If you can, request Mai!
