  She is absolutely the sweetest host I have ever met! Happy, friendly woman who is ready to help anytime she can. She tells good stories about her people and her culture and shows so many interesting things about life and nature of the northern tribes. The food is also amazing, this woman picks up dinner (veggies and greens growing on the mountain) on the trekking way 😆 Recommended!

  We chose Mama Su because of her smile, and we were not disappointed! 😊 An extraordinary woman who takes the time to explain her culture. We will remember this meeting for a long time.   Mama Su forever in our hearts! She is such a gem! Those 3 days with her and her husband were a highlight of our trip. We got to see many villages, went on great hikes, ate amazing home cooked food, drank happy water and we learned so much about her culture. Totally recommend for everyone ❤️

  Mama Su is amazing! We stayed at her place for two nights and she made it a great experience. From providing all local meals, to hiking and drinking lots of “happy water”, we would most definitely recommend you to stay at her place!

  Would recommend everyone to spend some time with Su and stay at her home and go with her trekking. Absolutely amazing experience, she is the kindest person and will welcome you openheartedly to Sapa and her home. Making you feel taken care off, showing you the most beautiful places and telling you everything about Sapa that you would never get to experience just staying at a hotel. Food is terrific too!! Just stay with Su and get a memory for life!

  We were three girls staying with mama su for two nights and we had a great time! She’s really good at explaining the culture and show us the local way. She invited us into her lovely home and cooked us dinner which was delicious. We went trekking and saw the beautiful surroundings where mama su was real good at finding a level that wasn’t too hard for us. We recommend going here if being part of the authentic lifestyle is for you! Love the danish girls!!🏔🛵🍛🌽

  Su is a wonderful host. Words cannot express how much she loves hosting and caring about her guests. From the moment I arrived she welcomed me into her home, like family. From trekking to meals to cheering with "happy water," staying with Su is an authentic, uplifting experience.   Awesome stay at Su's place ! We truely enjoyed our stay, her kindness and generousness. She is speaking English very well and can explain you all the activities and local culture of the region. We went trekking in the rice fields, the bamboo farm and many villages in the Sapa region. The food was amazing and her family is really nice. An unforgetable experience in Sapa !
