Great hostel at a great price point, the beds are comfy and the shared bathrooms were clean and nice. The common area has a pool table and an Xbox with a nice couch to lounge on, and there's seating outside available as well. The owner runs the place with his wife, he was such a nice person, helping us with everything we needed. I would recommend staying here.

One of the best hostel experiences we have ever had. We arrived in Sapa during the New Year celebrations without a reservation and quickly realized that everything was fully booked. We honestly didn’t know where we would sleep that night. The owners of Pea Hostel welcomed us with open arms and kindly offered us a place to stay, providing absolute comfort and making us feel at home from the very first moment. What was supposed to be just one night turned into three wonderful nights. For only 50,000 VND you could enjoy a delicious breakfast, and for 90,000 VND an incredible dinner that was truly an unforgettable experience. The food was amazing, but even more special was the warmth and hospitality behind it. We will remember this stay for a very long time. Thank you again for everything. You are wonderful people and a fantastic family.

The hostel owner is a very honest and helpful person. I cancelled the tour myself due to the rain and he refunded me. Also, it's a family-run business, so you feel very welcome. You can have breakfast for 50,000 and it's quite filling. And what you absolutely shouldn't miss is their tea. I stayed for 3 nights and ordered a pot of tea (30,000) every night and drank it and chatted with other travelers.

The house manager is by far the nicest person I‘ve met in a long time. He helps whenever he can and has always a smile. I would always come here again!

The female dorm doom room has three walls and one curtain for the beds so I finally had some much needed privacy. They also have a piano that anyone who wishes can play, it's really good quality and I was happy to play as I haven't been able to on my trip. The owner was very encouraging and overall one of the kindest people I have met here. He was incredibly accommodating with my friend as well, since I booked the bus for both of us as she was just coming back from a hiking tour. Everything with the bus went smoothly as well. I had troubles with my SIM card canceling 5 days before it was supposed to (we got scammed at the airport lol) and he took a lot of time to help me find the best way to get data for the last three days here. The hostel is quiet and clean as well.

Lovely staff and lots of rooms in the dorms with comfy beds. A very good price. Plus an Xbox to play Fifa with the owner

Absolutely lovely family—parents speak some English, daughter uses Google Translate, and everyone was warm and helpful. The trekking tour they arranged was by far my favourite part of Vietnam—truly enriching and unforgettable! The hostel has a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere with a cute baby, a piano to play, and a pool table for guests. Just a short walk away, there’s a restaurant serving the best vegetable pho I’ve had in Vietnam. Facilities are simple, as you’d expect for €2, but the separate beds are comfy and scooters are available if you don’t fancy the 30-minute walk into town. They also allow middle-of-the-night check-in—my bed number was posted on the door when I arrived at 3 a.m., which made things so easy. When bus issues meant I had to stay two extra nights, they went out of their way to accommodate me. Not overly social due to fewer guests, but a peaceful and genuine place to stay—especially perfect for arranging their incredible trekking tour. Solid 9/10!

This is the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at! The owner is incredibly kind, cheerful, and always ready to help whenever you need anything. The staff are amazing and create such a warm atmosphere. It’s the only place in Sapa that truly feels like home, clean, peaceful, and quiet. No need to look anywhere else, just come here!
