  Really kind couple who run it who let us extend, and let me check out late free of charge when I was ill. Cosy rooms and great price for what it is.

  Really lovely, kind family who let me extend my stay twice! In future I would stay outside the city but they are a good distance to the very centre so it’s easy to get to starting points for treks :)

  Amazing family hosts, make you feel really welcome. Also support in booking buses and trips out. The beds were incredibly comfy and we had a lovely balcony. Location so close to everything you need :)

  Excellent homestay. Very welcoming staff with a 24 hour reception, free wifi and good living space. Very close to the town

  Lovely and accommodating owners! They graciously let me check in after hours due to travel uncertainty and let me stay in a private room until morning. They answered all my questions. And they have the most adorable, playful kitten! The rooms/corridors are basic and cramped; you get what you pay for, in that regard. Sapa is also cold and damp this time of year, but they do provide heated blankets. There's no suitable lobby for socializing, if that matters to you. The location is great, very central. Would recommend for those on a budget, who want to be in the heart of the city!

  Good location, washing came back fast and smelling delicious. Staff not super friendly. Didn’t tell us about any services, didn’t tell us which bed to sleep in. Rooms aren’t cleaned as regularly and there was cobwebs and mould around. Shower head stand was broken. Not social at all. Staff need to inform guests that there are other people in the room at 1am when checking in so they cannot disturb other guests !!! One girls bed wasn’t made upon check in which caused even more fuss at 2am !

  I booked through Hostelworld with a total price of 35.64 AUD. I paid 12.70 AUD online, and the remaining balance clearly showed 27.08 AUD payable at the property. At check-out, the staff said the 12.70 AUD was only a Hostelworld fee and charged me significantly more in cash (around 650k–730k VND). When I showed my booking and questioned it, they mentioned calling the police, so I paid to avoid escalation. This did not match the price shown on my booking. I recommend being very careful and confirming the exact VND amount before paying.
