The staff working there is so nice and welcoming! They received us late in the night and arranged a taxi for us from the center at the very last moment. Also, the views from the accommodation are incredible!

Great place to stay in Ta Van. The location is very close to the rice fields and allows you to do many hikes and activities without needing a car. The place was calm and clean, we were lucky enough to be upgraded to the room with mountain view. Our host was helpful, she organised transportation and a guide for the trek. Overall a great experience, would highly recommend.

We had an amazing stay at Ta Van Family Homestay. The location is unique and the family is so very friendly. They have excellent knowledge of local customs and there are amazing attractions close-by. They went out of their way to make us feel at home. Amazing people and amazing place!

One of the best stays of my Vietnam trip. Ta Van Family Homestay delivers on every front: spotless rooms, breathtaking views over the rice fields, and a genuinely relaxed and quiet atmosphere that’s hard to find once you’ve spent time in the busier parts of Sapa town. The food alone is worth the visit. Breakfasts of crepes and banh mi set you up perfectly for the day, and the evening dinner with the owners was a real highlight, proper local cooking shared with the family around the table. Outstanding value for what you get. The owner arranged a 12km guided hike for me that was absolutely brilliant, one of the best experiences of the whole trip. She is sharp, hospitable, and clearly puts enormous care into running this place. Some reviews describe her as pushy, but that hasn’t been my experience at all. She’s a savvy businesswoman doing what it takes to run a successful homestay in a competitive area, and I have nothing but respect for it. Reception is attentive and responsive, and getting into Sapa town is straightforward. If you’re looking for a quiet, authentic base close to the trails with genuine local hospitality, this is it. Highly recommend.

This homestay was incredible. The food was amazing, and the service even better. I recommend you stay here, enjoy the great food, the ambience, and the beautiful owners and staff. An authentic experience, that I will always treasure. I wish I could give 100 stars. The best!

Location is good. Close to the main hiking trails. However, price is hella expensive and not worth it. I paid 28$ (after discount she claimed) for Deluxe room with Mountain View for 1 night and the mattress of the bed isn’t so deluxe (rigid and uncomfortable). I have to note this is the price I paid in Halong for 5 star hotel with fancy breakfast. None of the other home stays charge this much. Totally not justifiable. The food in the restaurant is really good. The sister whom does the cooking is really sweet and cooking class with her was best thing I had. ❤️ I had to change plans and reduce my reservation with one night and it was very hard for the hostess to take no for an answer. Was too pushy that I stay for another night. Made me uncomfortable.

All round a great place and conveniently located towards the entrance of Ta Van. The staff was really friendly and the accommodation was comfortable. There was an interesting family vibe. We really enjoyed the cooking class which was superb. Great eating options are found close by up the road.

Stayed here as a part of our 3 day hiking tour! The rooms were beyond expectations and our host was exceptionally helpful and welcoming! ||Her sister invited us for a fun cooking class where we made and fried spring rolls, which were later served as a part of a delicious dinner! Breakfast was great too - we got pancakes! ||Also, their homemade wine’s got a kick!
