Very happy experience with Sapa Original Trek for our 2D1N hike, easy to navigate and book on their website with super fast confirmation from one of the operators, Mr Tinh. Emails and instructions were very clear with no issues in paying the deposit. Admission fee was reasonable (compared to nearby hikes like Mt Kinabalu). We had a friendly guide, Mr Chay, leading us the way and was very patient with our slower pace. He was able to answer our questions, speaks good English. Amazing meal cooked by the porter at the rest house! Even though our hike was mostly misty and cloudy, it made the hike cooler and a unique experience going through the clouds. We didn't get a fantastic clear view at the summit but it was all still an unforgettable experience with no regrets. Can't wait to go again soon!

This trek was great. Tinh went out of his way to make sure everything was sorted for us. Our guide Mo was fantastic, we done the private tour so she gave us so many options and routes we could take. She also went out of her way to ensure the homestay was quiet and not too busy. I highly recommend this if you want a trek that avoids some of the really busy touristy areas.

We had an excellent private tour through the valley with a local guide, Song. She shared many interesting insights in a relaxed way. A fun and enthusiastic guide truly makes or breaks a hike, and she absolutely made it. During the five-hour trek, we visited three different villages and were taken to some truly stunning spots along the way. At the end of the hike, transport was already arranged and we were comfortably dropped off at our hotel. Looking back, this trek was one of the highlights of our trip, and I couldn’t recommend a better tour operator…everything was perfectly organized, allowing us to enjoy a completely carefree experience. In other words, highly recommended 👌🏻👌🏻

We booked our one-day Fansipan trek very last minute, and really appreciated how accommodating the team was. They prepared all the necessary paperwork, picked us up from the hotel, and brought us back after the hike. First and foremost: when they say the trek is hard, they truly mean it. If you are anything less than fit and healthy, you will struggle. The constant ascents and descents, combined with the altitude and its unpredictable effects on the body, make this an extremely challenging experience. I consider myself quite fit and experienced with hiking, but after lunch there were moments when I felt quite nauseous because of the altitude. Big kudos to our guide, Trong. He was incredibly experienced and knowledgeable. He adjusted to our pace, stayed close behind me during the more difficult sections, and helped a lot when I was feeling nauseous. He also organised a very generous lunch, carried our water when my backpack became too heavy, and took a whole bunch of amazing photos for my partner and me. We made it to the summit and received our beautiful, well-earned medals and certificates. All in all, although it was extremely challenging, it was an unforgettable experience, and we’re very grateful to Sapa Original Trek for making it happen.

Definitely the BEST travel agency to book your trek. We did the ST8, 2 days 1 night medium. It was perfect and they can adjust the programme depending on you and on the weither. May, our guide, was the sweetest ever. She told us a LOT about local cultures and history. The homestay was cute too, though hard to connect with the locals. Mr. Tinh has amazing communication skills and will make it as smooth as possible for you to get the best experience ever. We left the cloudy Sa Pa for an incredible journey, including a great room to rest and shower at the end. Thanks again Mr Tinh and May ☀️

We did the 2 days / 1 night trekking tour with this company and it was an amazing experience. Tinh was really kind and let us rest, leave our bigger luggage, and take a shower at their office both before and after the trekking, which was very convenient. We chose the 2-day homestay option and our guide, May, was fantastic – always helpful, knowledgeable, and patient. She gave us all the time we needed to rest, while also showing us beautiful spots and answering our questions with a smile. The trekking itself was medium level, just as described, and we were lucky to have great weather. Both days offered breathtaking views and unique visits, and the highlight was definitely the refreshing swim at the waterfall. The only downside for us was the homestay, which was not very clean and unfortunately had some termites. Apart from that, everything else was excellent. Overall, this was a truly memorable adventure that we absolutely recommend to anyone visiting Sapa!

One day off the beaten track trek from Sa Pa. We were met at our hotel by the wonderful Sinh and walked through Sa Pa and out into the countryside. Sinh told us about his school in the city and pointed out sights as we passed. Once in the countryside we walked through rice fields, vegetable fields, buffalo and villages all the while Singh telling us about rural village life, farming and his home and family. We had a quiet, freshly cooked lunch in the mountains, walked through a bamboo forest and we're taken back to Sa Pa by minibus. In the end we walked about 13 kms with 454m of elevation, just enough for 2 people in their mid 50s. We wanted to trek away from the tourist sites and learn a little about Vietnamese life. This trip was perfect for us. Sinh was a truly wonderful person and we had a magical time, we feel privileged to have had. Highly recommended

We had an unforgettable two-day trekking experience with Sapa Original Trek and our amazing English-speaking guide Sinh. Our adventure started at 9:00 am in Sapa, where Sinh picked us up directly from our hotel. After a short ride to the company’s office, we completed the payment (part of it had already been paid in advance via OnePay) — payment was possible in USD, EUR, or VND. The team provided us with water for the entire trek and even some fresh bananas for energy. Then the hike began! Sinh and his colleague (who carried the food and sleeping bags) adjusted the pace perfectly to our fitness level and even cut bamboo sticks to help us with balance and grip. Along the way, we met another small group from Singapore and decided to hike together to the base camp. The base camp was simple but had everything we needed. We enjoyed a cozy evening with hot food, laughter, and great conversations. Sinh shared fascinating stories about the jungle, the mountains, and local culture — it made the experience even more special. At 3:30 am, we woke up for breakfast under a clear, star-filled sky. Starting our final ascent at 4:00 am, we reached the summit of Mount Fansipan at 6:00 am, just in time for a breathtaking sunrise above the clouds. We were there long before any cable car tourists arrived — it felt magical to have the peak all to ourselves. Sinh even surprised us with a medal and a certificate for reaching the summit! Because our legs were quite tired, we decided to take the cable car down (800,000 VND / about 26 € per person). Sinh joined us — he has an annual pass — and afterward, he arranged a taxi to bring us back safely to our hotel. The cable car ride offered a whole new perspective of the beautiful landscape. We can highly recommend Sapa Original Trek, and especially Sinh, for anyone looking for a genuine, caring, and professional trekking experience. Thank you for this amazing adventure — one we will never forget! – Lara & Jens
