Stayed here for 3 nights and it was a pleasant experience. The place is quite secluded in a small alleyway. They facilitate luggage transfer for you up to the main road that's accessible by car so make sure to coordinate with them to do this. You do not want to drag your luggages up/down that road...unless you want that extra workout. Location-wise there's a bunch of other homestays on the area so it's not necessarily the only one. They do have a platform shown that could be very beautiful depending on when you visit. We stayed in early march so the weather was cloudy everyday. We're told the view would be very beautiful during rice harvest season. I'm sure it'd be beautiful regardless if the weather is sunny though. The one thing that makes the stay stands out was the staffs. Being a viet tourist, I do experience the feeling of being looked down upon for speaking Vietnamese in some places in Vietnam. I didn't experience any of that here and you probably won't either if you aren't Vietnamese. The staffs were very friendly and helpful, always respond respectfully to us. Hospitality is done right here. Breakfast is simple, seems to rotate between chicken pho/egg sandwich or egg ramen/crepes. Lastly, it's true this area has a lot of dogs and cats. The ones wandering into restaurants are generally friendly but some neighborhood dogs do seem intimidating so tread carefully 😅 I'd recommend staying here if you need a place to relax and unwind. The area is definitely commercialized with minority tribe people soliciting tourists to buy stuff and the reastaurants/cafes that are clearly catering to western tourists, but it definitely still got its local vibe to explore as opposed to Sapa which frankly I found so boring.

All rooms come with amazing view of the valley and rice terrace which you can see from balcony or simply lying on the bed. Well worth the higher price as compared with other homestays. Tricky to find the place. Suggestion to stop along main road about 200m and walk down the slope to the homestay. Many excellent IG cafe and restaurants within 200m of homestay

Amazing homestay! The stag is so wonderful. The bungalows have an amazing view and very clean. Couldn’t ask for a better 5 days while staying here. There is a bit of a trek to get to the homestay from the main road. It’s down a bit of a hill. Pack light or ask for assistance from the front desk and they will send a motorbike for you. A must stay in Ta Van.

Room and service were fantastic. Food was good, staff were very friendly and helpful. If you’re here to relax, I’d highly recommend this place as you will wake up to a very beautiful mountain view and layered paddy field. Air here is very clean and fresh. Downside is it’s quite far from town, about 30 mins drive but fret not, grab is accessible here too.

I loved and enjoyed every moment spent at S plus bungalow. I stayed here last December in 2025, location is situated at Ta Van village. It’s a very peaceful and tranquil place. You could see stars at night if it’s not foggy. Breakfast was included, breakfast was really simple, could be pancake with fruits, or chicken noodle soup. It’s homely and tastes good enough for me. Good for travelers who pack light, as there is an alley to walk down and walk up. Overall, an amazing stay, I enjoyed every single moment and the place was really clean and comfortable. I miss Sapa already…

I initially had an issue with my booking, as the room I reserved was not properly arranged and was unavailable upon arrival. I was given a different room, which did not match what I originally chose. However, I would like to highlight that the staff were very friendly and provided excellent service throughout. More importantly, the management handled the situation in a very professional and responsible manner. They reached out personally, sincerely apologized, and offered compensation, which I appreciate. The view here is truly beautiful. Waking up in the morning and spending time on the balcony was one of the highlights of my stay. It’s a great place to escape the city and enjoy some peace and quiet. Mistakes can happen, but what matters most is how they are handled. I’m very satisfied with the way this was resolved. I really like this hotel and would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

A quiet getaway from the bustling of the city! Located at Ta Van village! A mere 30 mins ride from the city centre. They will message you prior to detailed exactly on how to go. The property is located in a deeper part of the village that is inaccessible by car. It takes about 5 mins downhill walk from the bigger road. The staff will wait for you to help with your luggages and lead the way. The bungalows were modern and comfortable! The unblocked view was just very serene. Breakfast was a choice between 2 food options, plus a coffee/tea, seasonal fruits and a pack of milk yogurt. Nothing fancy but gives you a homey taste. The neighbourhood has dogs roaming around, so be careful not to accidentally invades the territory. There are many home cafes/ restaurants around as well. I hope the property can keep its level of cleanliness and service, otherwise competition will be tough as I saw many on going constructions around. And it would be great to add 1-2 more tables on the outdoor space as currently only have 2 tables. Oh, and fyi: the wooden bathtub is only for the couple bungalow

Had a great stay here, and we felt very welcomed and well taken care of by the caretaker, So. They were very prompt and helpful in fixing issues too - we had a fuse go off during our stay but they managed to fix it within a day while we stayed in another room. Some upsides: rooms were great and clean, situated in a nice calming location where you can see birds and ducks waddling along the paddy fields. The breakfast was not too special but was very filling and had great coffee. Some downsides: our room's hot water was not very hot, could be something wrong with the boiler.
