We had a lovely stay at Sapa Plum Eco House Homestay for about a week. The room was super cozy and cute, with a beautiful view of the village and the mountains — such a peaceful place to wake up to. Rose and Rex, the owners, are incredibly kind, easy to talk to, and very accommodating. They made everything feel simple and comfortable from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was included and we had it every day — really tasty with very generous portions. We actually ended up having dinner there every night as well because the food was so good, and they were consistently amazing. They also offer laundry service which made our stay even more convenient. One small thing to note is that the rooms aren’t very soundproof. We did have one noisy neighbor, but thankfully things quieted down around 11 pm and after that it was calm and we slept well. Overall, a warm, cozy place with great food and wonderful hosts. Highly recommend staying

I understand why this place has such high reviews after staying. The host is so lovely and really went the extra mile during our stay. She organised taxis for us late at night and early in the morning, that were a good price & cheaper than Grab from Sapa. We had issues with hot water on the first night aha she came to check it immediately. She also made sure we had a to go breakfast when we had to catch an early bus the day of our departure, we didn’t even have to ask! So kind of her. The laundry service was the cheapest and best quality I’ve experienced so far in Vietnam. The clothes came back smelling amazing and folded, with stains removed. The room was also so lovely, given that it’s cold weather at the moment there was 1 electric heater and heated blankets on each bed. This made it super warm and not cold at all. The bed was also the most comfortable I’ve stayed in in a while, just like home. The shower was amazing and bathroom very cute. The view from our room was also lovely to enjoy free tea and coffee on the terrace. The location was great, in the village of Ta Van so outside of the chaos of Cat Ba but easy for taxis to come to pick you up. There is also lots of local restaurants and cafes to explore. I would definitely recommend staying here to anyone.

I loved staying at Plum Eco House. Although it’s a bit outside of Sa Pa city, it was so much more calmer and relaxing to stay here. It was easy to get a grab to go into Sa Pa. The rooms were the perfect size, clean and I really enjoyed the balcony overlooking the beautiful landscape. Rose was also very helpful with everything and even managed to send me my notebook that I forgot back to Hanoi the same day. Thank you! Will definitely stay here again!

Homestay within Ta Van village with superb nature view. The host, Rex is friendly and helpful. We stayed at the bungalow for 2 nights. The bungalow is well maintained with hot shower and heat blanket. They also serve delicious meals throughout the day. We had enjoyable time and great memories staying here :)

We stayed for 3 lovely nights at Plum Homestay. 30 mins from Sapa town, this is the perfect little getaway, really relaxed and cosy. Rose & Rex were very knowledgeable, welcoming and helpful and we booked experiences and rented a motorbike with them. We never eat at the same place when we go away, but this homestay changed that! Everything we ate here was delicious, authentic and home cooked. Best food in Sapa!! If we were to come back, then we’d definitely come and stay here again.

We chose to stay in a village area in Sapa instead of the city, and overall we really loved the experience and environment here. After reading many good reviews, we decided to give this homestay a try. Unfortunately, we weren’t very lucky on the first day. There was a blackout with no electricity when we arrived, and it only returned in the evening. Since it was peak season and all rooms were fully booked, early check-in wasn’t possible, but thankfully the staff allowed us to store our luggage earlier, which we really appreciated. One big highlight was the food!! Honestly, some of the best food we had in Sapa! The meals were so delicious, especially the breakfast. We still miss it so much. However, we did face an unpleasant issue at night when a big mouse entered our room through a hole near the ceiling. It ate some of our snacks and even broke the zip of my luggage. We immediately informed the person in charge, and to their credit, they arranged another nearby homestay for us, which we appreciated. Despite this incident, we still loved the peaceful village environment and the overall vibe of the place. We just hope the homestay can improve pest control to avoid similar situations in the future. With that improvement, this place would be even better.

My daughter and I stayed here for several days. The hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful and we learned a lot about the area in conversation with them. The rooms are exquisite - each one has a small terrace. We ate several meals in their dining room - and all were delicious! Highly recommend. It is about a half hour drive from SaPa town and worth being away from the total tourist vibe there. We did lots of hiking and walking. If we are ever in this area again, we will book with Plum Eco House!
