  The Retreat is in a beautiful area of the Sapa region. Hannah was an incredible host, we had lots of fun and interesting conversations with her. Her cooking was also great and very affordable. We booked a guided Trekking Tour with her, which was also very fun. We stayed in her house next door. It was very pretty and clean.

  **Dinner** The horse hotpot was absolutely incredible — the meat was unbelievably tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. What truly elevated the experience was the homemade dipping sauce prepared by the owner herself; it paired beautifully with the rich taste of the meat. The hotpot was also served with a generous variety of fresh vegetables, many of which were picked right beside the owner’s home, adding an authentic and refreshing touch to the meal. **Breakfast** Breakfast was just as memorable. The mushroom omelette was wonderfully soft, fluffy, and packed with flavor. Paired with a bold cup of black coffee, it made for a simple yet deeply satisfying start to the day. Absolutely amazing from beginning to end.

  Had an amazing meal here! The fried rice was incredibly flavorful, the horse meat hot pot was absolutely top-tier, and the hot cocoa was rich, fragrant, and so comforting. Everything tasted fantastic and the atmosphere was great too. Highly recommend!

  Hannah, the host was absolutely phenomenal. Extremely welcoming, caring and helpful in our (2 x adults and 2 x teenage children) short stay in Sapa Town. The accomodation was very clean and well presented on arrival and the food all prepared by her personally. We are intending on returning to Vietnam in 6 months and intend on returning to Sen Sapa Retreat for another stay.

  Wow! This place is a hidden gem. Sapa has become super commercialized in the past years so if you are looking for a local and real experience to stay in an untouched Hmong village this place is for you! Also, the accommodation is beautiful (amazing views), cozy bedrooms, fully stocked kitchen (with juice presser!), etc. this place goes above and beyond.

  Sen Sapa Retreat & Restaurant is one of the best homestays in Sapa, located outside the town in a quiet, remote village. I stayed here for a few days and truly enjoyed my time. The homestay offers an amazing view of Fansipan Mountain and beautiful viewpoints overlooking Ta Phin village. The surroundings are peaceful and perfect for relaxing. Huong is very friendly and helpful. She assisted me in organizing tours around the village, and I’m really glad I booked the tours through her while staying at the homestay. This is a truly authentic homestay, where you can see and experience real local life. I highly recommend Sen Sapa Retreat & Restaurant to anyone who is looking for an authentic homestay and wants to experience local culture and daily life.

  Gorgeous location with such a beautiful view. The food was delicious and ingredients were picked fresh from the garden/land. On top of that the owner treated us with so much love and friendliness. Definitely recommend!

  The homestay is very quiet and clean, and the owner is friendly and enthusiastic. There are very few tourists here, so you'll rarely encounter other tourists, making it ideal for those who enjoy exploring and relaxing. The area is mainly inhabited by Hmong people, so if you're interested in discovering local culture, you should definitely come here. It's suitable for groups of 10 to 15 people, especially for long-term stays.
