This is a very underrated place. We went there twice in a row and we were basically the only customers there. It’s quiet, service is good and food was delicious. Price is also affordable for the portion. Recommended!

Surprisingly good find off the beaten track. The food was absolutely delightful and the service first rate. The place was very quiet but we were told they had been packed at lunch time. Entrance half way down the steps, at the end of the busy street Ng Cau May The other reviews on this place are spot on. Highly recommended.

Ginger Sapa was a lovely little gem. Its away from the main road so was nice and quiet which led to a peaceful environment. The interior decor was tastefully done and very cosy. Very clean. The food was tasty and felt fresh and healthy. Would reccomend for a lovely meal. Food came out quickly and was hot. The waitress tending (her name was Nu) was approachable, polite and friendly. She spoke good English and ensured the environment was relaxed.

Tasty food at affordable prices! Good service! We've ordered sturgeon / pork ribs / beef. All of them were very good! Many thx to the chef and the waitress! Nice and cozy local restaurant!

Best authentic restaurant in Sapa. Such a lovely atmosphere. The owner is a lovely warm gentleman and Tung is the wonderful friendly waitress and barista who can make any drink you like. The sizzling grilled beef on a hot plate was my favorite meal in Vietnam and the grilled Sturgeon in a banana leaf with passion fruit dressing was delicious and very unique. The coconut coffee was also super yum. Don't miss this restaurant, especially with its good prices and quick cooking time. It's just off the main road by the intersection. Head down the stairs with the lanterns and you'll find it on your left. Alternatively, you can go into the Bora Hotel and take the elevator down to the Ginger restaurant (B level).

Weather have been gray in Sapa for our stay, but this is the Highlight of my stay. We discovered this place too late because it's down a stair off the main roads, unless you know the location, you'll miss that amazing experience. Food is so flavourful, from salads, to spring rolls to grilled chicken with tribal herbs, to phos, to sauteed, anything on the menu is to die for. I've finished all my plates to the last bites. The chef is amazing, portion and flavor are on point. Tung the waitress welcomes you with a smile and make the whole experience even better. Always making sure we had everything we needed. Definetly put the bar high for the other restaurants in Sapa. Excellence at it's finest.
