Enjoyed our lunch here. Seems to be really popular but the wait is reasonable. We ordered the banh mi with chicken (unique like a panini style, served warm); grilled black pork on hot plate with the native bamboo sticky rice; broccoli with rice; grilled sturgeon in hot plate; orange juice (made with local Kam); sprite. All the flavors are good and well balanced. Children enjoyed the food as well. The servers are able to communicate in English so that really helps! Food portions are reasonable and proportionate to the price.

Liked it so much we came back twice in two days. Friendly owner who made up a table for two for my daughter and I even-though the restaurant was packed and many reserved tables. We had pho, very good spring rolls, bun cha and Vietnamese coffee, all were great and very reasonably priced. Friendly service although sometimes dishes and drinks came out in different timings, but we enjoyed dining there.

Originally we were about to eat in nearby area but was not welcomed warmly, so we found this place after walking for a while. We were greeted by the man who seems like the owner, he spoke English and gave us recommendation to try the fried spring roll. It was delicious that we got lunch there again the next day. Bun cha was great too :)

We had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant twice during our trip to Sapa, and it quickly became one of our favorite spots. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making it a perfect place to relax after a long day of exploring. One of the highlights of our experience was meeting the owner. He was incredibly kind and friendly, and talking with him was such a memorable part of our visit. His hospitality really made us feel comfortable and added a personal touch to the whole experience. The food was absolutely amazing both times we visited. We tried the fried rice and fried noodles, which were full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The grilled pork served on a hotplate was definitely a standout—so delicious and satisfying. We also had a soup (unfortunately, I can’t remember the name), but it was incredibly tasty and comforting. Honestly, everything we ordered was just the best. Overall, it wasn’t just the food that made this place special, but the combination of great flavors, a cozy atmosphere, and the genuine kindness of the owner. We would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Sapa and would definitely love to come back again in the future.

I really enjoyed dining at Little Vietnam Restaurant in Sapa. The black grilled pork on a hotplate was my favorite—super comforting, flavorful, and served in a very generous portion. For 200,000 VND, it’s definitely worth it. The bamboo rice was surprisingly special. The texture is firmer than usual, and paired with the dipping sauce, it tastes very unique and satisfying. The spring rolls come in a big portion and are very yummy, generously filled and not dry at all. I also tried the plum wine—it’s strong and tasty. Highly recommended for those who enjoy alcohol. Overall, a great place to experience comforting Vietnamese food with good portions and fair pricing.

Such a lovely experience! The food was absolutely delicious the spring rolls were amazing and the fish was so fresh and flavorful. But you know what truly made my day? They brought complimentary fruit at the end of the meal. Such a small gesture, but it made me incredibly happy. It felt so thoughtful and genuine. The staff were kind, the atmosphere was cozy, and everything was made with care.

Little Vietnam in Sapa was a really enjoyable experience and a great way to wind down after a long day, especially if you’ve just come back from hiking Fansipan. The food stood out straight away, packed with flavour and clearly made with care. The coconut dish in particular was a highlight, rich, fragrant, and something I’d easily come back for again. The staff were warm and welcoming, creating a relaxed and comfortable dining experience from start to finish. The atmosphere matched that perfectly, peaceful and calm, making it easy to sit back and properly enjoy your meal without feeling rushed. Its location right in the heart of Sapa makes it super convenient, especially if you’re exploring the town or heading back after a big day out. Overall, it’s a solid spot with great food, friendly service, and a laid-back vibe that makes it ideal for ending the day on a high note. Just make sure to double check your receipt as we were charged extra for some items that we didn’t purchase.
