First meal/dinner in Sapa and the food are really good. Reviews are Legit, I second it. Crazy busy, on the 4th floor with a good foggy view. Hesitated to try the horse meat due to being mild spicy, maybe next time. Must eat here once when in Sapa.

Very nice restaurant. I was one person and just ordered one salmon sour soup because I was not so hungry, but it was very big, and I like it, I ate the whole thing it was quite tasty. Then after a while because I didn’t order anything else, they gave me a small bowl of rice, it was very thoughtful! During dinner this guy started playing the traditional music on the flute was also really good. After when I was leaving they gave me a small gift bag with snacks. Thank you! 😊

Must-try! Doesn't disappoint. My absolute fave new place to dine in Sapa right along the bright and vibrant Xian Vien, across the corniche. Food, ambiance, aesthetic, service -- simply the best. Wait staff speaks a bit of English (we Google translated) but the fluent floor manager actively walked the floor for anything you need. We picked a nice table close to the balcony overlooking the busy street. It was a real vibe, leaving plenty of room for photos and videos. We had the salmon spring roll, pork stir fry, salmon soup, rice as main dish, and a plate of fries with rounds of passionfruit juices for starters. Chef's kiss!

I came here after seeing the positive reviews and despite knowing it may be a touristy experience, I decided to try. The building itself was beautifully decorated with warm oriental themed decor which was very pleasant to the eyes. Tables and seatings are aplenty as the building occupies 3 storeys. After flipping through their menu, I ordered their recommended dishes namely the grilled village pork and grilled village chicken with bamboo tube rice. The grilled chicken was decent with adequate flavors. Being a village chicken, the meat was more chewy but that is to be expected and I enjoyed the texture. The grilled village pork was something unique for me. Like the village chicken, the pork meat was also chewier in texture and it also has leaner and less fatty parts. Again, this dish was flavorful without any unpleasant gamy smell. The sauces helped to enhance the taste and I particularly enjoyed their own brand of what appeared to resemble a mayonnaise-like condiment. Overall I was pleased with the food but please note that the food portions here are huge and they're obviously for sharing so it may not be solo traveller friendly in that sense.

More like of a bar. Leaning towards Chinese food than Vietnamese. Food was salty. Drinks were not that cold. When we went here, I have seen the floor with vomit, probably because of the drinking sessions. Droplets of sauces or food or whatever in the chair. A bit dirty for me. Horse on fried sticky rice didn’t taste like horse at all.

The food was just average, but the restaurant was beautiful. It has several floors. We visited during Tet, so most restaurants were closed, so we decided to try the first restaurant we saw. The pumpkin soup with chicken was just okay. It’s a bit pricey, but we didn’t really enjoy it. On the other hand, the tea was good, and the servers were very polite, even though some of them didn’t speak English very well. We paid almost 800kVND and I don't think it's worth it

I visited May Quan with my family after spotting their Happy Hour sign while walking around town. The restaurant itself is quite spacious and the decor looks pleasant enough, giving a comfortable first impression. Unfortunately, our experience quickly turned disappointing. When we spoke Vietnamese with the staff, we were told that the Happy Hour promotion only applied to foreign customers. That honestly felt confusing and unfair, we were ready to pay just like any other guest. We even asked if they wanted to check our passports, but the staff didn’t respond and instead went to ask the manager. The final answer remained the same. In the end, we decided to leave and won’t be coming back. The menu here is already on the higher price range, and if promotions are not meant for Vietnamese customers, it would be more respectful to clearly state that on the advertisement board to avoid disappointing local guests like us. As Vietnamese customers trying to support a Vietnamese restaurant in Vietnam, this experience simply didn’t feel welcoming.
