Great food, excellent service. Best in Sapa. Do you why this restaurant is call Smile Restaurant? Because the boss and service staffs always put on a great smile😃. With Sapa sometime foggy and cold, this restaurant services will definitely warm you up. Thanks for the great services to host us.

A very cozy restaurant run by a friendly and welcoming owner. The food was good, and the owner kept checking in to make sure everything was alright, which made it a very warm dining experience. We ordered morning glory, duck on hot plate, and curry pork in coconut based on the owner’s recommendations. We asked for extra spiciness for the morning glory and they adjusted perfectly to our request. The duck on the hot plate was definitely the must-try. the meat was tender with the seasoning on point. The curry tasted nice as well although it was slightly overloaded with spices, but the aroma of coconut still made it special. The portions were quite generous that’s why we couldn’t finish all the dishes.

This should be read as three separate 5* reviews because we have eaten here three days in a row! The food is absolutely incredible, so so tasty. We ate the tofo and eggplant three days in a row, and we also had beef noodles, beef stew, morning glory with garlic and bun cha. Impeccable, highly recommend! There is so much choice on the menu. The owner is the happiest, friendliest person i have met and really makes the dining experience wonderful. Thank you so much Smile, I wish we were staying in Sapa for longer so we could eat here again!!

Had the best food in sapa at smile restaurant. Please give their Vietnamese food a chance. Dont just get the pasta! We had the banh Xeo, coconut chicken, morning glory and grilled tofu. Not a single miss. Shout out to boss’s wife who is single handedly cooking every dish that bustles out at breakneck speed while still keeping the deliciousness.

The owners name is Smile and he lives up to it! I had a freshly made ginger tea, fresh spring rolls and com ga tam and it was all very yummy and tasted fresh! Its in a quieter location on a side street so it was nice to escape all the people and loud noises. The service was also very timely. I recommend!

I honestly struggle to see how this restaurant maintains a 4.9-star rating. While the European-style facade is beautiful and creates a nice atmosphere, the experience felt a bit hollow. The staff greets with smiles, but it feels scripted rather than authentic…more like practiced phrases than genuine hospitality. As for the food, the sizzling hot plates and burgers are above average and worth a try, but everything else we ordered fell below expectations. It’s a decent spot for a quick bite, but perhaps a bit overrated given the hype. Add on: skip the egg coffee too.
