Stayed here for one night. Very good service from team starting from reception until kitchen team. Meals were tasty, rooms were clean and well maintained. And special thanks to Son, he was at the reception. He assisted me so much along the way and fulfilled all my requests without fail, he deserves a raise and promotion for sure. He speaks good English too which was really helpful for me! I hope to come Sapa again and will stay in this hotel !

The ting is, I came here trough the tour I booked and I have to say that the people were very nice and the service was incredibly good! That made me very positive about the experience. Regarding the room, its really good considering what you are paying! An example of the service was that when I was dropped off by the bus, they picked me up within 3 min at 00:15 AM.

Everyone here was so friendly and gave great service! Yes - the rooms was a bit dirty with bedsheet with stains and room felt damp. But it's Vietnam..what do you expect. If you want something first-world quality then go book a luxury 5 star hotel.

Had a wonderful stay at Golden Villa Hotel. It’s a great value-for-money accommodation. The rooms were spacious enough. Didn’t know how the TV works but you’re not really there for a staycation anyway. My stay came with buffet breakfast which had sufficient selection. Would totally recommend.

I stayed at Golden Villa Sapa Hotel on March 28, 2026, for one night only. It was a last-minute booking, as my previous accommodation was fully booked and I couldn’t extend my stay, so I decided to move here. Overall, the stay was quite good. However, I was a bit surprised because the room looked quite different compared to the photos on Agoda. The cleanliness also needs more attention, there was a damp smell in the room and some cigarette butts, which was a bit unpleasant. On the positive side, the staff were very friendly and helpful, which made the stay more comfortable. Breakfast was also quite decent with a good variety. The location is slightly far from the center, so it might be something to consider if you prefer staying closer to the main area. I also noticed from other reviews that many guests mentioned Tom, but since we only stayed for one night, we didn’t get the chance to meet him. With some improvements in cleanliness and better consistency with the room presentation, this hotel definitely has good potential, especially with such a warm and helpful team. Thank you 😊 Regards Filania & Gilang

Booked here via a deal on agoda. Since it was a deal it was worth it but would not stay here again. My biggest irritation was that the internet was unreliable, even tho our room was next to the router. It kept randomly disconnecting. Breakfast was ok. Just little things they need to improve on: eggs were made with way to much oil, cups and plates are not dried off, the breakfast location feels like your in a dungeon, coffee heater is not even turned on so it cools down fast. Rooms were good. Just that the view is terrible and the fridge in the room doesn't even work and smells really bad.

The highs of the hotel were its good location and generous servings of food at lunch and dinner. The staff were generally friendly and they helped arrange the tours. However, the room we stayed was dilapidated. The bathroom ceiling was leaking, the shower was open (entire bathroom gets wet), the fridge didn’t work and there were no outlets near the beds. There was a lot of outdoor noise at night.
