Had such a nice stay here, the staff are sooo friendly and helped us with everything we needed including scooter rental. The rooms were so nice and the view from the balcony was incredible (when it’s not foggy!). The breakfast was delicious. The only fault was the rooms seemed to be ever so slightly damp but wasn’t too much of an inconvenience! Highly recommend for a very budget friendly stay, takes about 10 minutes to walk to the centre.

We had an amazing stay in the mountain view room everything was clean and tidy when we got there, shower was good, toilet was good and bathroom in general was clean. The staff was always happy to help. We had a laundry done by them and it was done very quick. Breakfast had a good selection. Highly recommend Sapa family homestay😁 Another thing to mention is that we decided to go with the trekking tour that Sapa Family Homestay can organise for you. Gao who was our tour guide was an absolutely amazing person and she alone deserves 5 stars, she was super friendly, English was good, she was happy to answer any questions that we had and her knowledge of the villages, Rice fields and trails was great. She was always happy to tell us about what we were looking at on our trail.

We stayed in the Mountain View room and it was beautiful (when it was clear enough to see). The staff were super helpful and accommodated our needs, would really recommend. It’s a little walk away from the town but not too far and still walkable :)

Amazing homestay with nice views from the 5th floor and only 5 mins walk from the town. 200k including breakfast is a serious bargain! They even have a heated bed which is super luxurious for that price and for Sapa's climate. Piping hot water too. Really kind and friendly host who came to meet me cos I couldn't find it. They even do laundry. Highly recommended 10/10!

Overall it's alright, the have been here 4/5 times the rooms are mostly nice, but this time, it smells a bit dusty

Damaged old rooms and furniture with stains on walls, furniture, sinks and towels. No amenities and shower soaps are empty or watered down. Bidet is broken, showers switch from hot to cold, hallway had a broken door that wouldn’t close so that it kept slamming all night when there was wind. Their “mountain view rooms with balconies” are public terraces that anyone can access from the hallway with direct window view into your bed. Staff speaks extremely basic English. Unless you can get it for under 200k/night there’s a lot of better more modern hotels in town at their price range.
