The tokin spa was well design with ethnic flavours. The masseurs were skilled. We felt really relaxed and went back again the next day!

Amazing experience! Upon entering the very beautiful space i was given a cup of tea and a form to fill out to ensure that both the team and I were happy and comfortable. I had the Yin Yang Neck and Shoulder Massage with the Yin Yang Herbal Bath - both of which were incredible. My masseuse was very skilled and she worked out the most knots in my shoulders and back. The bath was a perfect temperature and left me feeling relaxed, and thoroughly cleansed. The room I was in i assume is typically used for couples treatments as there was two beds and the bath was really big (which was lovely to have!). The music was soft and calming, and the bath had a great view the mountains which provided an extra level of peace. Once my allotted bathing time was over the staff notified and allowed me to dry off and change with more than enough time. And i was given more tea and a yogurt upon exiting the treatment room! This spa is must-do for anyone exhausted from a trek through Sapa.

Definitely a relaxing experience. I paid 1,4M VND for 90 mins service of Tonkin Special Massage. They had some singing bowl sesh every now and then.. great view overlooking the mountains. You could also shower after the treatment and it was such an awesome experience. Perfect way to end your day and treat yourself after a long trekking day

This was honestly one of the best massages I’ve ever had. The service and atmosphere are excellent from the very beginning. When we came for a foot massage, we were first invited to warm up by a fire and offered hot tea, which was perfect for the cold weather. During the massage, everything was thoughtfully organized: we were given shorts to change into, our feet were washed in warm, aromatic water, and each of us had a personal heater. The therapists were very skilled — the smiles on my friends’ faces said it all. Everyone was extremely satisfied. At the end, we were treated to homemade yogurt, which was a lovely final touch. We wanted to come back for a full-body massage, but unfortunately got sick. Our friends went again and were absolutely thrilled for the second time as well. If I ever return to Sapa, I will definitely come back here.

Came here after a long hiking day and it was exactly what I needed. Did a 90-minute body massage with an amazing view — super relaxing. The staff were really friendly and caring, and the therapist’s technique was very good. I felt completely relaxed afterward. Highly recommended!

Absolutely magical experience at the Tonkin Spa! We had the red dao bath followed by a wonderful massage. The facilities are gorgeous and clean and staff were friendly. Dat and Diu were our massage therapists and were amazing!

Beautiful spa facility flanking over the mountains amidst the clouds. It was perfect to warm up on a January misty day and to reset from long hours of travelling. Staff was incredibly kind and communicate well in English. The herbal bath was one of my favorite treatment. The in cave sauna is just as good as they show in the video. Had a very restful nap in there. Special shoutout to Hieu Quyen from the team - you were very attentive and kind to us.

The interior of this spa is stunning and they offer an impressive variety of massage options to choose from. I had a 90-minute hot stone massage which was very relaxing. The masseuse would regularly check on you if the pressure was to your liking. However, the experience was unfortunately spoiled by a very rushed and uncomfortable ending. Normally, you'd expect a moment to recuperate after a treatment, but after a few minutes, I was immediately told to get dressed because more clients were waiting. The staff began making the bed while I was still dressing and even hopped on a video call to get help adjusting the thermostat right there in the room. While I understand the need to prep for the next guest, being hurried out while staff performs maintenance and makes the bed around you is quite distasteful. It’s a shame to have such a serene massage ruined by a stressful exit. — UPDATE: In response to the owner’s comments: I stand by my account of the experience. Regarding the timing, a client’s perception of time naturally shifts during a 90-minute relaxation treatment; if I was over the allotted recovery time, a polite knock and a “5-minute” reminder would have been the professional way to handle it. Regardless of the clock, performing room maintenance around a partially dressed client is never appropriate. It is disappointing that the response uses a defensive tone to justify a breach of privacy rather than acknowledging the lapse in service. I hope management sees this as a reminder to maintain professional boundaries and to ensure this doesn't happen to other clients in the future.
