  The tour organised by Tom was the highlights of our trip to Vietnam. We spent three days traveling with him from Sapa through Mù Cang Chải and the surrounding regions, ending in Ninh Binh. From start to finish, everything was handled smoothly. He has been doing this for a long time (20 years), and it shows. He knows the routes, the places, and the people everywhere we went. What really stood out is how he goes beyond a standard tour. Along the way, he kept bringing us to places we would never have found ourselves, often involving local interactions that felt authentic and unplanned in the best way. It never felt “touristic.” You could tell he has deep local connections and knows every corner of the region. He was also extremely flexible. Whether we mentioned food, culture, history, or just wanting to stop somewhere beautiful, he would quietly adapt the plan and make it happen. Sometimes we only realized later that he had organized something just for us. On top of that, he was always present, helpful, and happy to answer any questions with real depth and context. He drives very safely, and the car was comfortable. Most importantly, you can see he genuinely enjoys what he does, and that makes a big difference. If you’re considering a multi-day trip in northern Vietnam, I would strongly recommend Tom.

  It was a fantastic experience travelling with Tom. He will take you to places which are hidden gems and absolutely breathtaking. Everything is so well planned and he customizes the plan as per your liking. He showed me places in and around Sapa which were simply amazing. I highly recommend Tom Travel.

  We can only be positive about the trip for so many reasons. From the booking, Tom was correct and responsive. In no time we had a good proposal for a 2 day hike and stay in the Sapa Garden Hotel. He arranged transport from the trainstation to Lao Cai and had our rome prepared from the early morning on which was very welcome. We are a family of 4 with 2 boys of 9 and 8. We did a 2 day, 1 night tour with a wonderfull guide named Yao. She explained a lot about the habits, culture and harsh life in the mountains. She showed us truly beautifull places along the trip and gave us time to enjoy. We got to know the people, history and life in the mountains around Sapa better and are very thankfull for that. Yao explained that Tom Travels helps the local communities by providing them with basic needs. So the trip was not only sublime for our family but also supported the local community. We really recommend Tom Travels, guide Yao and the hotel. An amazing experience

  Hung picked us up at our guesthouse in Sapa and we went to Y Tý with him for 3D2N. Y Tý is a beautiful place in winter (and we heard it is similarly breathtaking in summer when the rice fields are up and running). Hung arranged for us to stay at Clouds homestay. The homestay is basic but we had the best sleep this trip there. We went waterfall trekking in the clouds, accompanied by Hung, Luy, a young local guide and the homestay's faithful resident dog, Bong. Hung brought us to the local market, cafe opened by the locals and we had a unique bbq experience with his friends. Hung even went the extra mile to arrange a hotel room for us so we could freshen up before our train back to Hanoi. All in all, Tom Travel exceeded our expectations in every way. We felt taken care of, safe and comfortable from start to end. Y Tý is not as commercialised as Sapa, so anyone who enjoys the rustic countryside, a bit of adventure on bumpy roads and being out and about in nature and among the locals should really visit. We highly recommend Tom Travel👍🏼.

  We have booked the full day tour from Cat Cat to Ta Van. All was OK, you can trust this local agence. We especially thank our guide for this day. May is very professionnal, kind and funny. A special day thanks to her !

  Had a great experience with Leo of Thomas Travel! He anticipated our needs and showed us some amazing things especially Egg Coffee! You can tell he loves his job and would highly recommend him! Best tour guide we’ve had to date!

  Short but very good experience. Perfect organisation from A to Z and very good hotel services. One regret : they don't know how to change clouds and rain by sun 😉
