  I did the beautiful one day trek through the rice fields of Y Linh Ho, Lao Chai and Ta Van. My guide was Say, she told me a lot about Hmong culture along the way and was happy to answer all my questions as well. We stopped at a couple places where she showed me Hmong traditions and crafts which gives you a nice insight. The trek is fun, a couple parts where it can be muddy can be challenging so make sure you wear shoes with a good grip but overall it was on the easier side. Can recommend this tour 😊

  Amazing experience to see the 'tribal' side of sapa. Our tour guide Sang was incredible. Telling us all about her culture and her life in the village. We did the mountain trek with the first day trekking over the mountain with amazing views of the valley. Stayed in the homestay on the mountain and the next day walked through the villages in the valley through all the rice fields!

  We (family of 4) did the one-day 11km trek yesterday and it was amazing. We walked up to ~2400m with spectacular views and stop for lunch (provided), then down into a neighbouring valley passing through two small villages. We could never have had this experience without our fantastic guides Zhu and Nga. It's hard walking but well worth the effort.

  One of the best tours of my life, thank you Show! Amazing girl with a lot of sense of humour! We laughed a lot, walked through amazing views, the best part of all the 2 days trek is definitely Show. She takes time to explain everything, her life habits and customs and answer every question you may have, she cares for every single person in the tour. Thank you for this amazing time I'll never forget it!

  We had the best time in the trek! Our guide, Soso, was incredible! The rice fields are beautiful, you get nice views from high up and then you go down into them and into the villages as well. We had a delicious lunch in one of the villages too! Make sure to bring good hiking shoes and sunscreen, some of the trails are pretty challenging.

  I did a two-days hike through the villages around Sa Pa with a guide who matched my pace… which, apparently, is faster than average. We choose the most panoramic routes, not the shortcuts. What struck me since the beginning was that the organization seemed to be run entirely by women, from the guides to the people managing the logistics. I don’t know if that’s intentional or just how it worked out, but it felt right for this part of the world. The scenery is everything you’ve seen in photos, but different in person, more “real”. The terraced rice fields, fog rolling through the valley, the whole thing was unique. The villages are something else though. The living conditions are rough, genuinely rough, and I’m not going to pretend otherwise. But the people I met smiled more freely and made more eye contact with strangers than most of my neighbors back home ever do. Make of that what you want. Highly recommended if you want to actually feel an authentic experience and not just shuffle behind a group like a tourist.

  Our trek was fantastic and our guide Su was out of this world fabulous! We hiked through beautiful bamboo forests, rice fields and mountains all while learning about the Hmong people, the tribes, culture and many aspects of their lives. Su did a fantastic job of answering all of our questions. Her English is perfect. She was fun, enthusiastic and encouraging. The office staff was helpful both while I was in the states planning our trek and while we were in Sapa. They helped explain the trek and what to expect when we arrived the day before, and helped us contact our shuttle service for the return. You can store your luggage with them while you are gone. There are hot showers, soap and towels when you return, and a place to wash your muddy shoes! The trek was challenging but very rewarding. The two home-stays were fantastic. Beautiful families, delicious dinners and breakfasts. Lunch during the trek were hearty and good. I would highly recommend this trek, Su and all of the other guides and staff we met!

  We booked a 2 night 3 day trek. We had Zhu as our guide. If Zhu is the benchmark for Trekking Tour Sapa, it is a 5 star from us. The conversations and insights of the people and culture was enlightening. Zhu guided us to Hau Thao, climbing 450 mtrs on the first day, Ta Van to the second through some idyllic villages and finished in Y Linh Ho. We highly recommend Trekking Tour Sapa.
